It´s happenin' to me.... (OK, not THAT song again)...
I went to the hairdresser.
Yes, in strict lockdown! I did!
I took off all my clothes, took a shower, washed my hair, put on some clothes and then...
I went into the kitchen.
My hairdresser was there, brushing my hair for say plus 5 minutes, then he was satisfied - took it and CUT.
ONE CUT:
I feel FREE!!
Yes, that was Ingo. He certainly you-tubed before, there is loads of advice since we´re "left alone"...
I´d said before: I cut your hair, now you mine...

From now on... I know I said I support local stores but... my hairdresser now is Ingo.
CUT, that´s it, and it looks OK!! No fussing around (his haircut takes longer and drives me nuts at times, cause.. I´m his hairdresser, remember?).

The Young One and I have been playing hairdresser on each other. I the cut isn't exactly fashionable, it's at least presentable. And hair grows back quickly.
Okay dear Iris, another reason we might really be siblings, after aout half a year, I also cut my hair today! I really did! Well I got the buzzer and shaved the sides and left some at the top. It's not skinhead but I added that extenders to the buzzer so that there's gonna be about a cm of hair left on my sides hahaha. But congratulations on your new haircut, you should have tipped your handsome hairdresser!

Very brave of you letting Ingo cut your hair, not sure I would let Jose cut my hair at all.
When the kids were small he used to cut their hair, and I still remember when he cut Karina's fringe and it was skew and he kept cutting more and more because he just couldn't get it straight, and in the end she had about 1cm of fringe from the top and she cried and cried...
I just use the clipper, takes 5 minutes. :)

Hairdressers have been closed here since November. My hair is sooo long!
I cut my husband's hair as well, but he doesn't have the courage to cut mine, so I have cut it myself during the pandemic just to keep it short. Hopefully soon I can see my regular hairdresser soon - she is health compromised, so we're waiting until we're both fully vaccinated (I already am). Having a real cut again sure would be nice. How nice that Ingo cut your hair and did a good job with it so you're happy.
We're wide open here in Idaho. Hairdresser shop one don't need to have a mask on. But the one I use the hair stylist and custmers needs have a mask on. If they didn't I wouldn't go.

I love getting my hair cut. I bet after 3 years it is amazing. I know about thin hair, and I don't have a lot of hair either. I'm not bald, but just not a lot of hairs per cm2. Hope you show us a photo of the new hairdo!
