For once I got the artist - haha!! Nasim Naji created this Henry!
As I know you are used to me having one post a day I merge two in one...
We´re having kinda our 30th anniversary, and if you like, just read on, part one is here...
This is part #2... 30 years, huh.
Did we celebrate?
No. Ingo is 200% there for his job and not for me - he slept.
I TRY to see the good we had...
End of 2007, in September, our life took a nasty turn.
Ingo´s apartment flooded again and so badly he - good thing - came to Braunschweig - a 13 years weekend-relationship ended - for good as in ... "good"! ;-)
It was a lot of stress and Ingo after everything was done got sick from one minute to the next, literally.
Infected pancreas. His Mom and his Dad´s Mom had it, it´s in the genes.
It was horrible. I told NO ONE here in Braunschweig/Seesen because one hug I´d broken down.
But I needed to take care. Talk to the doctors etc, etc...
I got help in this community.
One "person", called Willow, put up my FB-account and helped me LOADS with infos the docs did not give me.
When Ingo looked like this...
Ingo, at 1.83m was only 63kg...
After his Brother helped...
We met a very nice and funny mother-daughter-team from Canada there we spent a lot of time with -fun.
Really on the way back to "normal"?
Hopes were high...
Udo Jürgens is my Dad´s age - I thought we´d be the youngest - HA- NO!
Many peeps were much younger than we are!!!
It was an awesome concert.
He came back in his white bathrobe and gave another song!!
He died walking in the Swiss Alps. Heart-attack. No better way to leave, huh.
Maybe Ingo would´ve been a good Dad after all, but too late to think about that.
As
we share the same wedding-date our host went to Adelaide for the
occasion and took Ingo and me to Penguin Island before the event!
.. for.. financial reasons. Actually. But it feels good (my Mom´d inherited me... long story. If I die first Ingo doesn´t have to pay the state too much now, being my husband).
We got a RAINBOW in November in Perth!!! Our friends told us this means good luck!!
Yes, to the dismay of still so far only former blogger Grace and her Hubby we LOVE The Simpsons (their Daughter is a huge fan, too, and the three of us manage to drive them like really nuts every time 🤣 - because... The Simpsons is real life! I manage that on my own, also....
I thought Ingo went nuts! I had to learn .. I still do learn new stuff every day and Ingo booked an "educational trip"!!! Learning in my holiday???
Was the best trip ever - with peeps from Saxony / East Germany.
Because the people were so lovely I am one of the few West Germans who can stand that accent!
I even got to steer their boat (slowest one around, hence...)
It was meant as surprise for me. She could not remember Ingo´s complicated surname and just wrote "Ingo". Our neighbor C took it in and I brought it to the hospital to Ingo to open.
Yes. We had many a hospital visit. In Germany and in Joondaloop/Perth.
More to come, enough for today.
Here is part #1, if you care.

I love these look back photos Iris. 30 years is a big deal. And it looks like your years have been like my husband's and mine, happy, worrisome, good, and all worth it. (AT least I hope yours has been.) Hugs-Erika
What a nice trip throigh time, apart from Ingo getting sick. Nellie is a nice gift. Both of you look very nice dressed for the concert.
