Monkey Love

This was pre 2008.
Ingo got me this hot water bottle-monkey as we had a weekend-relationship and by myself I was always cold.

Ingo styled his hair back in the day, too.

And you sure spot two Henries 🦁 on his car.

I lived in Braunschweig already and our first league American Football Team was called the "Braunschweig Lions", 12 times German Bowl, 6 times European Bowl Defender.
Now "New Yorker Lions".
Some things change for the bad.. we went twice again. No fun anymore.

Anyways, these three animals go to....

Oh, that monkey (decide which one) helped me through many a cold night!

Hello, Iris
The hot water bottle Monkey is cute, so handy too.
I do see the Lions on the car, the American Football team has a great mascot. Thank you for linking up and sharing your critter post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

Hot water bottle monkey looks super cute! Is it just a warmer, or a sipper as well?

Iris Flavia said...

He was a warmer and I lost him over the years....

I'm here because I'm not sure you would see my comment on your T Tuesday post. I had planned to start at the beginning of the month when I first got sick, but it soon became overwhelming.

Always LOVE your calendar drawings. They make me smile. I hope you get through menopause without the pills, but if you need them, take them. Thanks for sharing your drink for T this week, dear Iris.

LOVE that monkey and the photo of Ingo.

Got a failed to publish, so not sure when you will see this.

I love the monkey! I had a similar, smaller one, but not for a hot water bottle, just a toy and he lived in a tree in a pot for years until I moved and gave the potplants to the Community Garden and forgot to take the monkey.

Dear Elizabeth, thank you for commenting despite being sadly sick!!!
I am happy to make you smile. And hope for no pills!
Sadly the monkey got lost....

Iris Flavia said...

Yes, those were happy ... weekends!

Iris Flavia said...

I moved several times and lost him... I now have a stripey tiger. And his duck...

Iris Flavia said...

Thank you, we had happy weekends but I will never agree again to a weekend-relationship, this was horrible. I felt like a half and had many things double, hence the blog-title.... we have but one life!

Iris Flavia said...

I ... we loved him very much!

Same here, the monkey is gone! I moved too often and he got lost!

That monkey hot water bottle is cute, and nice lions on your car. And I'm glad Ingo is still there, as I can see the comment you left Linda above. But it's sad you lost the monkey. :(

Yes... I lost a Queen-DVD, too! I hate moving places!
