2015 we traveled Tuscany and amongst other visited Nonno Duilo and his family, see here if you like - "Nonno" means "Grandpa" - he was so happily doing his job - Italians treat their elders much better than we do and the wine was simply named after him!
Not being much of a wine-drinker, but if you have a good bottle you need something special to present it, right?
So with this I join... Nicole´s...
SITAR. We got it in Perth or Freo:
Now you can argue. Indigenous art, Aborigine art for... really, alcohol?!!! Are you nuts?!
I travel Australia since 1995, Ingo´s first tour was 1994.
We saw the worst, we saw the best.
Every country, it seems, has it´s dark sides, so does Australia.
And also... why not put a nice bottle of water in this?
Why not simply enjoy this wonderful art? Here is a close-up, I hope you enjoy:
Have a great Sunday, I´ll have a hot cuppa tea! For a smile join Gillena. Smile!

ANY bottle of wine would look good in that gorgeous holder. Happy SITAR and Sunday Smiles.
That is true. I just thought of respecting the artists...
I don't see anything wrong with putting a wine bottle in that holder. I think the artist who created it would be happy to know it is being used.
I hope you are right. I saw too many drunk, helpless, in the hot sun, kids inclusive... Those pictures do not go away... "we" took their simple life with nature... their land...
The holder is pretty, love the art work. Love the cute "roos" too.
Take care, have a great day and a happy week ahead!

Yes, it´s wonderful art - have a great Sunday.
Good luck finding yours!
I love artistic things that are useful. I think using it as a wine bottle holder is excellent.
This Indigenous art is wonderful, thanks Iris for sharing it.
You have some interesting art Iris. I like how you use it with the wine bottle too. Happy Sunday and Happy new week. I hope all is well and the week starts off well also. hugs-Erika
A good bottle as you say. I am not a wine drinker either.-Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com
That's pretty beautiful, Iris!
Seems like I am just way too sensitive on this subject...
Sad thing is... the majority cannot beat alcohol...
You´re welcome, Tom. Actually too precious to put a(n empty) bottle in there...
Thank you, Erika. 08:30 a.m. eye doctor. Yippee to that start ;-) - No, I am happy they take me in, hugs

Both, Jeanie :-)
Beautiful art!

Dream Time 101 , Love It

Cheers on this!
The wind bottle is perfect for this. I have always been attracted to Australia and the indigenous people. Their art IS dream time and so beautiful. I never had the opportunity to visit there and now I'm too old to travel that far. So I see Australia through your eyes. Thank you Iris. And thank you for joining SITAR too.
It is quite lovely and needs to be used, Iris. Cheers.
I´ll happily share as long as I can, dear Nicole. It´s an awful long journey...
Yes, RedPat, maybe with water still, though...
It's beautiful, Iris.
I don't drink alcohol, but the wine bottle and the holder are very pretty, dear friend Iris. Sending you much love and hugs.
It is beautiful, Iris.
The Italians do seem to look after their elders better than many countries.
All the best Jan
Lovely Kangaroos.
