See my glasses for size-reference.This is 8.0*10.5 cm - 3,1*4,1 inch.
I started this after thinking it is a joke but seeing Christine can do this, so I thought, give it a go. And, especially for jumpy people like me this is great training ... and FUN.
The light came from the left, so no real shadow on his head or tail.
This is one of my coffee-mugs.
So... "Hi, Eileen!"
I had a biiiig, looong talk with a new - FEMALE!!! - colleague after our 3-day workshop on railway.
(I´m working in a men´s-world, so this is special)
We also talked about our pets.
We stood on a Friday on the sidewalk for 2 hours!!!
My feet hurt like crazy walking 3+ km after that.
After a gazillion of subjects two unleashed dogs came near.
I am afraid of dogs.
On questioned why told her about our German Shepherd dog who was so aggressive when suffering cancer and being so much in pain and me being too young to ask my Mom to let her (her name was Inka) put down.
Just a couple of weeks ago, on a Sunday, her cat... she has twin-kids, a boy and a girl, 12 years old, played on the balcony on third floor. The sick family cat... she tried everything but understood the poor guy was in too much pain.
She wanted to take him to the vet to put him "to sleep" come Monday.
Instead. I nearly cried... the desperate cat jumped off the balcony to death. Her kids saw it all and could not help, the cat was too fast, a last effort to end the pain.
Now who states animals cannot think. The cat never went onto the balcony much, but that day.
On a lighter, happier note: They still have his brother, 18 years old, a Granpa, so to say.
Some days he behaves like that, she told me, other days... like a teenager zooming around like crazy, making her kids happy.
I think we can learn a lot from animals, aka "Critters".
So... have a happy Saturday and give an extra-pat to your pet, if you have one (we don´t).
If you come straight from Eileen, see Henry´s foot here... (two posts, I was forced to, kinda!)
