I came back home late today to find River´s "Wednesdays Words on a Friday" have changed to "Words for Wednesday" and I can even join.
This week's words/prompts are:
Henry 🦁
1. "that's not a good idea." "I know, but it's the best bad idea I've got."
and/or:
1. fire 2. rose 3. time 4. coins 5 peanut butter 6. shouting
Also try to use Charlotte's colour of the month which is Antique Pink for September
use either list or both, or mix and match, just have fun.
So here goes:
Today at the workshop "Introduction to rail vehicle technology I" I learned that if a train catches fire it can still drive up to 15 minutes to reach a safe place for evacuation.
I certainly panicked and thought, come end of January next year... taking the ICE to Frankfurt... "that's not a good idea.", but then "I know, but it's the best bad idea I've got."!
In panic I asked the lecturer if we can still run to the next cabin if we happen to be in the burning one.
And that is why a train never is over-filled, so it can take the people fleeing in.
He clearly lives in a theoretical world - how about in your place???
The other day I saw the very super-coolest tram - and left my cam at home for shouting out loud !
WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN (chances are high I see this tram again - wish me luck).
It had the groovy theme of the coolest time ever - the 1970´s - all over, with more than a rose in Antique Pink!
I remembered we "once" bought peanut butter - likely with no coins, as we use credit card mostly. It was... like Vegemite, nothing we liked! But kept it for in case I find a hearty recipe for it. And then of course forgot about it...
Went to search for it, put it on the induction-field for a good pic (very pro with my hand in it 😉).
Whilst typing a shouting from Ingo, "you bought peanut butter again?!!"
Certainly not.
"Peanut (our squirrel that I feed walnuts after learning peanuts are not good for them but the name stuck) will not like it", Ingo added.
Reckon we can still try the "butter" or does it go to the bin?
If you have a non-sweet, yummy recipe (with meat or such), please share.
Also I learned today... if you see the vehicle driver run...
It means he had to activate the emergency brake and a collision can very likely not be avoided!

I eat peanut butter on toast every morning!
...I love peanut butter, but rarely eat it. It's addictive!
You two don´t make me try it again, LOL!
At least not plain on a sandwich...
I know what you mean about never leaving your camera again. THat's when you always find the best photos!
Yupp. Lesson learned! Esp as these days they are so small!
I like this quite well, and the background on your blog!
Good savory peanut butter recipes exist in Thai cuisine. For example they serve a spicy peanut sauce on satay, which is skewers of marinated, grilled chicken. These may be outside your comfort zone, though.

best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Excellent story and that's a good reason for never having too many passengers, here the trains I ride are mostly empty, but I imagine in peak hours with people going to and from work they might be more filled. It's the tram that I try to avoid since it is usually packed so full it is hard to find a seat or even somewhere to hold on to.
I don't have any helpful peanut butter recipes, only for peanut butter cookies which are sweet. Likely your jar is dried out now so you should throw it away.
Good words!
I guess not filling trains up is a good safety measure, prevention is better than cure. I don't eat much peanut butter these days but when I do it's always crunchy.
A great use of River's prompts. I hope I never see the train driver running away...
A very nice use of the prompts.
If you are stir frying chinese vegetables to serve over rice, adding soy sauce and a good glop of peanut butter gives them a good flavor.
It also tastes wonderful spread on celery. Some even top that with raisins calling it "ants on a log."
Cindi, thank you. In the "About Me"-section you find out about The Little Giant Girl in the backkground :-)

Mae, sadly I would have to subscribe for money, but I´ll look elsewhere for it, thank you. Cooking-wise I think by now I dare to leave my comfort zone :-)
____
River, yes, when I think back on how very crammed Transperth was 2015 when Royal de Lyxe with The Little Giant Girl were there...
Good I had no idea of such scenarios!!!
But more than once Ingo and I had to sit on the floor, lugguage by our side on the way to/from Frankfurt!
Just checked, it still smells good, the Peanut butter, and is moist.
____
Christine, thank you.
_____
Amy, yes. I´ll sure be very aware, will check where fire distiguishers are etc...
Sometimes it´s better to not know too much...
_____
Elephant´s Child, I hope we never will see the driver run!
____
messymimi, thank you, I´ll sure will give it at least one try... and rather soon!
Why "ants on a log"? Ours is a cream.
I love crunchy peanut butter and have it a few times a week with apricot jam.
Sounds... sweet... brrr ;-)
I have one brand of peanut butter that I'll take either as smooth or crunchy.
Cruchy penut butter has tiny chinks of peanuts mixed through it, so you get a crunch when you eat it.
Ants on a log is easy, a stick of celery filled with peanut butter looks like a log and when you add a few raisins or currants on top it looks a little bit like ants crawling on a log of wood. We call things funny names so kids laugh and like to eat it.
Hate peanut butter probably because I was not brought up with it.
