T This Mixed Week

 

 

My rather sad (?) ticket to Elizabeth´s T. I miss Madeley so much, Perth, my friends, the sun the warmth (sadly cannot say the heat...)

 

The journal:

 

Monday: Cold, sooo cold!

Played the dishwasher again, went grocery-shopping.. I LOVE rain, but wee.... the wind went under my jeans... awfully cold! Stripey Tiger had to get straight to work when I came back!

I also have his duck as warmie, but he is cuddlier! 

My table in trouble - I might bite it!!!!

The new prime-minister of Netherlands is on TV. In Berlin. Speaking German. Then, saying, "maybe better to speak English now..." and BOOM! - his voice is off  - we get the German translation - and have no idea what he really says. 

No subtitles... OFF! 

Merz??? Speaks German. A shame. A shame.... We speak of EU and NATO-subjects. Had to switch channels. Table OK.

Beautiful The Simpson´s-episode about jealousy and love. 

 

Tuesday: Plan: Clean. Did: Perth-pictures-editing. This will take some loooong time.

Thursday:  Perth-pics, cleaning... Ingo: Let´s rip the tiles out and take others... um, no. I rather clean.  Found a fancy chocolate. Best before 06/23.. hups... time runs..

 

Friday: fK (from East Germany): "Yesterday I found a 'power-chocolate' in my backpack from you - was best before 2024..." ummm... There must be more to life than this?

Ingo helped me on the CAT-map (free bus in CBD, Perth Central Area Transit). I drove by myself and YIKES.

Went into a pharmacy to ask for help and got: "What is a mural?!"

 

Oh. Lordy... You live in the city of murals and...

OK, next shop and... I found this cuppa!!! 

How could I not...

 

 

It is safely home in Braunschweig now, pics still taken in the cabin in Madeley.

The  lady had no clue what a mural is but upon my explanation sent me to the park but I thought, nah... Sami would´ve said "park" then!

 

I found it, see tomorrow - I found both, stay tuned.

 

And this NIGHTMARE will always remind me with a smile that I find things on my own even if people fail to help (that is the pharmacy and that gift shop, NOT Sami or Ingo!!!! They tried their best with Mrs-has-no-orientation-whatsoever).

 I don´t know if I want to get that old but weeeee.... is she fit!

I asked my Niece, soon turning three, what she wants as a Birthday-pressie (she turns 16 soon).

"An ant. And Sun".

 

Yah. Got her after searching a container with a magnifying glass (and a toy sun) and explained, she can catch an ant and watch it in detail in the container.

 

Dumbest Auntie ever. 

There was a constructions site before and what you call "CAT" they called "ANT", just that I did not know of either. When I was there the construction site was long gone.

 

The disappointment!

 

A customer at Ingo´s old working place ordered a Play Station.

They had not unpacked and checked yet but the Dad stormed in and insisted to take one of them unchecked.

His Son was soooo excited!!! A Play Station!!!!

 

It was a wooden block as there weren´t enough Play Stations ordered and this was to stabilize  the mail. Not chekced by staff, right...

 

Guess how happy that Son was... A wooden block. 

Maybe Ingo at 101 still tells that story - you got it now.

 

P.S. Our cabin number was 101 ... and found by the ice cream man!

Today Spring officially starts and with Jochen´s super-happy face (and many more in this video) I join Nicole´s FFO!

Spring is here as an ad and we go and get into the the garden (GARDEN, GARDEN, GARDEN!!!).

Or in our case... BALCONY,  BALCONY, BALCONY...

For some reason that song was very popular and Wolfgang Petry sang, 

"Warum schickst du mich in die Hölle?!"

"Why do you send me to hell?!" 

And at life-concerts the fans yelled, "HÖLLE, HÖLLE, HÖLLE!!!!" 

I LOVE this ad, a clever one, a fun one for once!!!!
