My rather sad (?) ticket to Elizabeth´s T. I miss Madeley so much, Perth, my friends, the sun the warmth (sadly cannot say the heat...)
The journal:
Played the dishwasher again, went grocery-shopping.. I LOVE rain, but wee.... the wind went under my jeans... awfully cold! Stripey Tiger had to get straight to work when I came back!
I also have his duck as warmie, but he is cuddlier!
My table in trouble - I might bite it!!!!
The new prime-minister of Netherlands is on TV. In Berlin. Speaking German. Then, saying, "maybe better to speak English now..." and BOOM! - his voice is off - we get the German translation - and have no idea what he really says.
No subtitles... OFF!
Merz??? Speaks German. A shame. A shame.... We speak of EU and NATO-subjects. Had to switch channels. Table OK.

Friday: fK (from East Germany): "Yesterday I found a 'power-chocolate' in my backpack from you - was best before 2024..." ummm... There must be more to life than this?

This is the first time I ever read that you didn't miss the heat. It must have been very very hot. I woke up to more white int he ground today. And yesterday was quite cold and raw here too. I probably have chocolate from 2004 hanging around somewhere (I hope not! Probably not, but maybe 2014!) Chocolate is not my thing and unless it is going in pudding, mousse, or the occasional chocolate chip cookie or flourless chocolate cake, I'm not a big fan of just munching it! (OK, maybe M&Ms! Or mixed with peanut butter or coconut!)
Chocolate doesn't go bad. It may develop a white bloom on it which is not mold, just a discoloration. If it doesn't look right, or smells bad toss it. I woke up to sunshine and a coating of snow on the ground! Happy T Day

Sorry I'm late visiting. Late Monday night the fiber optic snapped and broke due to high winds. My neighbor called ATT and they finally sent someone out to string a new line.
I love your calendar pages. I especially like the basket of groceries and the cleaning. Not sure I would trust the chocolate. I've had it go bad on me before.

Out of date chocolate should be OK especially if it's dark chocolate. Mine never lasts that long. I do like chocolate and I always have some on stand-by for when I fance some.

Throw away the chocolate, it won't even be good baked in anything, the discolouration means most of the taste and texture is gone already.
Basking in the sun like Henry makes me yawn too.
