Those orange socks just crack me up! What a dress for a honeymoon!
But this one is even better - it shows my Dad on a business trip in Japan. Woody Allen comes to my mind ;-)
These were truly the 70´s!

Today he would throw a big party. He would turn 70 today. He died over five years ago of cancer.
Though we were not that close (we were too similar), it still does hurt too much.
Happy Birthday, Dad. I miss you.
I called him "Papi".

I'm sorry you hurt Iris. But, these pictures made you smile, no? :~) Keep your loved ones close in your heart - no one and nothing can ever take that from you.
Thank you, Wendy!
Sorry about your dad.
That was a nice tribute to him. Loved the photos.
Iris, the best thing your parents can give you is happy memories. And the stuff we remember always seems to be the silly little things: those orange socks your dad wore, or those sideburns!
I know your dad would want you to have a smile on your face, whether he is here to see it or not.
So sad. I still have my dad, age 60, and do treasure him. I have been a "daddy's girl" all my life. But you do have fond memories. Hope you cheer up.

Thank you, everybody! Yes, I am better again. I have been told it takes two years and then you´re over it. Takes longer for me, though...
It helps to read your kind words!
