10.11. - Today (I´m „blogging“ offline, so to say) we got up rather early and I´m really surprised we have near to no jet lag!
For brekkie we had another roll with Coon – two slices each! - went to the City via Transperth - since it´s Saturday the long route via Warwick and train and – wow. Are we really in Perth?!!!
In just 7 years...
Woah!
We at first weren´t able to locate were we are and it was surprisingly really me who got it first.
Awwww, so nice to be back in Perth!
It really is, as H said, our second home.
It didn´t feel like being on holiday but like being back „home“!
At Jesters we had our very first Pie – something Germany doesn´t have.
Hmmmm, it was a chunky meat and cheese-Pie, sooooo yummy!
They don´t lie, it was "ridiculously tasty"!
Sadly we don´t have internet access in the cabin and the cellphone´s battery died, so we took the netbook to the city – their free service doesn´t allow FB.
Aw, well, we´ll try tomorrow at the Shopping Centre.
We visited the Brass Monkey again, see first pic, and
(yep, classical view...)
Kings Park (just a quick stroll, as said near to no jet-lag...).
We went to the souvenier shop at Forrest Place – again, this time the opera-singer wasn´t there. Since 1999 he must´ve moved on forever ;-)
Don´t get me wrong, he could sing well.
But opera only... the staff wasn´t pleased at all and also to us after a while it was just too much.
Aww, they have so many cool stuff there – Mandi, don´t worry, we grabbed enough of the cool car stickers for the next company cars :-)
Buuuut.
3 T-Shirts for men for $34.
1 for women... $34!!!
And the very cool shirt with just WA on it – for man only and size S is missing, too! Unfair!
It was – to us coming from our nasty November – really hot.
The Australian sun really burns – despite lpf 50!
Our cabin has even microwave, oven, freezer, but on a rather bad side-note... it´s a bit filthy. The sweeping broom is yucky and the public BBQ here … eeeek. Of no use, I won´t eat anything from there. Gah.
The new owners removed the locks at the public toilets, too. Well, rather the new owners before them – these didn´t even know there were lock earlier.
Time runs. Or management changes quickly over here.
Still: Great to be back!!
Thankful.

I love Jesters Pies also, they are all yummy! That souvenir shop at Forrest Place is great.
Wow! There's a new bakery I'll just HAVE to try next time I'm in Perth!!! And that T-shirt Ingo is wearing is SO cool!!!
Yips to both of you!!! Aw. I would give a lot for a pie (or wearing no sweater on top of the t-shirt)...
