The other day I spotted this old house that´ll soon be no more.
The German-American petroleum company was founded in 1890.
In the early 1900s they were sold and called DAPOL.
Their logo was an Indian with a feathered headdress. D'oh!
Today it´s... exxonmobil, aka Mobil in Australia.
We got many a liter from them :-)

If I was a teacher, this could be a good start to a lesson in history, walking there, no?
