Like Ice... Errr.. A Walk In The Sunshine

By golly, yesterday we had a rare visitor: The sun!
So I decided to follow doctor´s orders and aimed for the main cemetery, that I´ve driven by in a car severeal times but never paid a visit.

It´s about 5 km one way and wee, who knew Greece is just around the corner?

With 6C it wasn´t that cold, but the wind was icy and harsh.
But I found some inspiring graves.

It has many different views to ponder about...

Or this one:

Beautiful, no?

I´ve never seen a grave like the following:

Beautiful building:

This place reminds me of the one in my hometown...

On a lighter note:

And on a very, very light note:

218% on my fitness-watch, 17 847 steps and 13,2 km all in all when I was home.
A start, but, by golly, my feet did hurt! ;-)

Quite a long walk Iris. Some nice tombstones in the cemetery.

I have to get back to getting fitter again, Sami - and that was a good combination :-)

Well done on the steps Iris, I'm pretty happy if I get my 10000 ☺ I'm so glad you took us for a walk through here, it looks like a lovely cemetery, especially when the sun is shining ☺ I don't think it's strange at all to walk through, when Aimee and I were in Paris we walked through a few .. Pere Lachaise was amazing!

10000 ain´t bad, either, Grace :-) Hope your knee is fully recovered! Yes, I agree, cemeteries are parks, kinda, too. I wouldn´t go in the dark, though ;-)
I was just one day in Paris back then, the rest I spent in Louviers with my guest-family and one day in Rouen.
