Don´t you worry, there was no accident involved, this is just an ad, kinda, of a car dealership on the way.
Ex-Teamleader had a doctor´s appointment in Braunschweig (or, as he calls it Tetris-city - why ever, I think this town is (more or less and kinda) logically build according to historical development) - and suggested we meet for a cuppa.
In the city or... - I chose "or" since google suggested it´ll be a one-hour, 5km-walk - I did before but didn´t check the time.
If you know me... typical German, at least on time.
Haha, one hour? 41 minutes! :-) And I stopped for the occasional pic, too!
At minus-temps I opened jacket and jumper cause I walked real fast.
More "haha"... we planned to meet at 11:00 am.
Guess what.
10:49 cell phone rang, I´m on my way and should be on time, too..
WHAT? LOL.
He was there 10:56.
As in: Car parked, meeting me at the entrance.
East as West, we´re German! :-)
Where? Well...
We had a very long lunch, browsed IKEA, he got what planned, I got Ingo a lille golden cup for the kitchen... the bill is cute:
We said our good-bye´s and, yes, I want to walk back - also cause... SUN!
As I learned here naked trees ain´t that bad :-)
At times, that is.
The days are getting visibly longer and I feel better, too.
185%, 19 920 steps, 13,9 km (only?!!), 2033 calories burnt.
And a fun time. Serious talk, too. Hope we keep this up once I left the company for good.
And this morno I had another first!
I think maybe I can cook a bit after all (and I never ever thought I might say this, but: Less cheese, my, am I full!).

Sounds like an all round good day Iris.. a bit of speed walking 😀 good company, good food and all those calories you burnt off would easily be more than an omelette.. nice work!

We only had breadrolls with cheese at IKEA, Sami, it was more the company than the food that was of quality ;-)
Yes, the first time I made an omelette - I always thought I´ll never get it out of the pan in one piece, but it was easy!
That is a very "cheesy" omelette. :-)
And not the "cheesy" last one ;-)
