Funny, Just Not Funny
First day Ingo felt totally well, big, big yay!!!
We sat at the table when suddenly... EWWWW! Big, big eww, it started smelling like big, BIG shit.
Where, just where is THAT coming from???
Ingo got a guy named Frank. Frank then got the manager.
We all, both sides, had a "I'm sorry" face on. Us for bothering, them, them for...well... shit! ;-)
Meanwhile.... same procedure as every time...
Ingo went to Bunnings and got a new antenna....
Down-side: Ingo found Deutsche welle TV, a German channel.
Guess what was on.
Yes. Jewish convicts in KZ.
It was bad, I understand, but really. Pol Pot, Mao, Lenin...
This is not a German excuse. Don't get me wrong. But, really. Turn on a German channel... BOOM. In the face. Just saying: My parents were kids, my Dad's Dad not joining, my Mum's side isn't German.
Frank provided a ladder and we attracted the neighborhood, too.
There is a wasps-nest and a neighbor got insect killer and sprayed it off whilst Frank told me about Pizza.
He's from Sicily and will ask his wife for THE Italian place to go here.
Thin crust etc, even the manager lost it in drools (not really, but you know what I mean).
You wanna join us, let us know!
We talked about fast food - Hungry Jack's is yummy, really???!
Big no to KFC (yes. We tried yesterday. Whilst still yum in Germany, a total looser here!) - Maccas... he could not explain the hype, it's always busy for some reason - do you have an idea?
You see.
As I tried to explain to Sami, that is why we keep coming back here:
Ever since we came to Australia we slept either in the car(s), at rare times in a tent (car is more comphy) or in a cabin.
An apartment, condo, house ... would not feel like "home".
So sad I did not dare to take a pic of that neighbor. He was wearing but a shorts and presented his rather big belly, hey, it's just us, right?
The hood, so to say!
And I finally understand how people from warm/hot countries can enjoy snow-pics.
William has some on display and, weeeee... in 35+C it's beautiful!
P.S. This is the place, Solo Pizza in South Perth. Even the oven is from Italy!
And the names... awww... Quattro Formaggi, Spinaci, Cotto & Funghi... we'll share a Margherita for sure, just join us!
Speaking of Europe...
We did not:
German Bratwurst!!!
This, though...
Not again...
And, please, what is this, Gurri is haunting me!!!!
Our Iranians (we got Mango AND Avo, hahaha) asked if we enjoy the heat: YESSSS!!!!
(Horaaaay to aircon, though).

I would skip the liverwurst!
Deutsche Welle, wow, I know of German news every day on SBS I think.
Not a fan of either MacDonald's, or Hungry Jack's but less still of KFC.
The only chicken place I'll buy from is Nandos, very tasty :)
I do not like liver, but liverwurst is actually yummy, have you tried, William?
No more Deutsche Welle for me. Yes, Sami, I remember Nando's being yummy :-)
I bet you are enjoying the heat after winter. I know it's grim heat there but right now, I think I could take it. Not fond of liverwurst OR liver. But I love a good German sausage!
Sounds like you are settling in well after a few initial problems Iris, nice neighbours too. Hope you're enjoying the heat although it hasn't been too bad ✨
You sound like you are having lots of fun.
Jeanie, I hate liver, but liverwurst is different :-)
Grace today it was freezing, kinda!
Joan, thank you, yes, we do!
