Lazing?
Noooo, we're not "lazing on a Sunday afternoon".
For once it's not arvo yet, but we enjoy, savor, relish half an avo (mango) with "sunbites", some yummy crackers each.
I remember when P in Germany wanted to make a Guacamole.
We went and bought two avos.
The mixer gave up.
Hard as a soft stone, no cream ever. When (another) T arrived we only could "apologize" (yes, over time I had three teamleaders with the same name and all from former East-Germany, too!).
Here? We just walk in, Ingo says to the girl, wow, you've grown up!!!, to which she smiles big and answers, wow, you're back again! - it's a family business for sure, our Iranian grocers have the best avos! And friendly smiles and words.
This...
... was taken in Freo yesterday and made me smile, too.
I have to add, btw.... it's a 1 1/2 hour trip to Freo for us. We needed to go upon arrival.
The unisex toilets are "gone", it's male and Ingo dashed for it whilst I was told to "turn left!".
At the exit our friends already waited for me, showing me... yep. There was filming going on, some movie and the crew did not expect this train!
So... if you ever see a movie filmed in Freo and see a man in his 50's dashing for the loo: yep, that'll be Ingo.
I had to hold it! (But women can do that, right).
And L, who was so small when we first met, he did not even hit my shoulder... taller than Ingo now! A typical Teenager and the only thing that got the boredom out of his face was when B said, in winter, say 14C and Ingo said, ah, like German summer, - not funny, mate! (And not really true, either).
Happy Sunday or at least a lazy, yummy one!
I forgot, but I do not want to make it a must, either. But today I am happy/thankful for waking up next to Ingo in a comphy bed (really, all the years here the beds were way too soft), a long FB-post from MIL (a very stressed retiree who is thankful FIL does the cooking, LOL), well, and... it's getting warm!

You have been busy. I see you've been to Freo too and seen murals :)
I like guacamole too.
See you Tuesday.
Have a fun Sunday!
At last.. a comfy bed! 😉 Sounds like a relaxing day Iris. Do the buses and trains not work at the weekend, I'm pretty sure we've caught the train but haven't been on a bus for years ✨
A lovely post, Iris, and it sounds terrific -- especially the comfy bed! It must feel like you have come home. I'm so happy you have this opportunity!
Some bunny made me smile!
Sami, yes but time so flies! See you in a couple of hours!
magiceye, thank you, we sure had.
Grace, actually the bed is a curse as Ingo wants to sleep in! Well, Transperth works, just not as frequent on weekends.
Jeanie I so wish we could call it home - but you are right, at least we can visit!
William, I happy for that...well, for you and the bunny :-)
