T STands For Adriano!!! Help Me In The KiTchen!

Ingo gave me the Bose and ever since when I cook... Adriano is with me and I bother no one!
Those headphones are brilliant!!!
See... go. Vote!

Or how about a ballata? La ballata di Pinocchio? (We´ve been there, Lucca!)

You cook like a King with this! (And listen to all the laughter, it´s a joy!) Certainly Homer is with me also (see cooking helper under Bose)!

 Here I just took a pic - €23 for a hot-"water"-bag? Not with me.
What did Adriano and I cook (and yes, I cleaned up afterwards, no spaghetti sauce left as mess)...

 The other pot was Ingo´s...

Ingo grew up with this, and he grew to over one meter eighty (eighty-four, now maybe eighty-three), I did not and don´t even hit the -sixty anymore.
But this soup and I won´t make friends...

Spaghetti, anyone?

Art-wise I just doodled around. I STILL wait for the book on water-colors, thanks to Corinna it´s all a tad slow...

Spring-colors - yesterday it WARMED UP - sorry for screaming but getting Ingo´s bread was a JOY!!! I used sunscreen! Yippeee-ya-yeah, Schweinebacke!!!

(Schweinebacke being winter! YES, take that, winter!!! And here is an interview with Schweinebacke´s speaker! A FUN interview!!! My belly hurts!  I´m in love a bit!)
So Spring-colors it was!

The sun is out!!! Cookie, you!

Red and green, our kitchen.
Guess what I did.... Took some of my bread out of the freezer. Put chicken and Wasabi on it.
Sounds yum?
I forgot I had loads of chili in the bread, BOY, that was hot!

Well this Easter will be slim, eh? So I stuck to just a simple, thin, handwriting... but I wish you...

Other (other than blogger bugging me, changing font etc every time! Same with you?) and other than not being able to find a job...

...even W said NO! It´s not worth it!!!
I get job offers in Jena! Frankfurt. Top was Vienna.
Perth I would take but that won´t happen.
This was my week:

THE HIGHLIGHT certainly was finding Treasure!!!
A post on that Thursday is in the making, we live in dumb-land.

Friday I went up to neighbor W - I´d said I MIGHT make lasagna and share it with him but after dumb I was sick of more heat.

He´s too thin, he´s so sad about his wife having Alzheimer´s - mind you, I sure know how this goes, my Grandma in the end thought I´m my Brother´s Wife. Out of 14 Grandkinds she raised the two of us! And forgot me....

He loves Stollen - a Christmas Cake and guess what I found!!!! SPRING-Stollen!!!
Even better than lasagna, right! W gave some for Ingo back (I don´t like sweets):

Also my entry for Elizabeth and Bleubeard´s "T Stands For Tuesday".

So there we stood, W and I, me with mask on.

W: "You won´t get a vaccine, will you!!!"
It was merely a warning not going for it.

No. Not in the risk group, don´t see anyone and meds are taken off the market as considered unsafe in Denmark already.
I said, "have you seen the news, how Merkel...." ... OH BOY.
W got a bit loud, calling her (rightfully) stupid, asking what good it is to say "sorry" for ruining our country, aka not being able to manage the crisis.

THE WORLD, America, rightfully laughs about "us"!
And yes, rightfully. Compare the size of these countries, Germany is tiny and Merkel goes from lockdown to hard... you get the picture...

GOOD: We switched to SUMMER-TIME!
Wish we could stay there!

Or "heart", as Ingo calls it...

Mine sure is much more beautiful, thanks to Ingo, post to come.

Henry 🦁

Ice-Tea??? Oh, Henry, not warm enough for that, Lion, you!
Just a pic, I cannot buy everything, right...

...but those Bose headphones are so expensive, I guess that I'm just a cheapskate!

Cool headset and fun paintings with the bright colors. I like the hot colors but not hot in food. Spaghetti? Yes, please! So kind of you to take the Stollen to your neighbor. The stollen looks like a heart. My dad had Alzheimer's. He thought I was my brother who never went to visit him in the nursing home. A little sad, but I didn't mind as he was always happy to see me. The last visit, he said I know who you are! I said, I came for a visit and he said I'd like that. For a brief time, he knew who I was and he was more like my dad. My last memory of him was a happy one. Happy T Day

Tom, true!!!! But for once worth it! Like... really!

CJ, I burned my tongue off!
I sure cried a more or less happy tear on your memory of your Dad. A happy ending after all...
W said we hope for just not waking up or dropping dead from one sec to another (like Udo Jürgens was allowed to), but we fear Alzheimer´s so much....

Kathy, yes to all of that!!! When Ingo asked me to buy those I thought, WHAT?! 300 bucks for "stupid" headphones???? SO worth the money!

I have those same headphones in white also and I just love them. I can lay in bed when I wake up in the middle of the night and not disturb the hubby since he still needs to get for work. Your cooking looks yummy and I had some good laughs with your art this week. I didn't laugh because it was bad, but the face on the pepper was pretty funny. Hope you have a super T day Iris. Hugs-Erika

Wow- all the energy you have in this post Iris - must be from all that heat from the food and the warm sun :):):)
I do enjoy a taste of wasabi on certain things.
Love your very spring-like and vibrant art!! Happy T day, and a happy Easter too!

Those Bose headphones are popular. I would love a set but then everyone would know I was wearing them. I prefer the little ones that go in my ear so I can just pretend I am listening.
Loving the bright colors on your art this week. And the food looks and sounds yummy!
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

I saw Adriano on YouTube and he is quite appealing. Good food for the two of you. The music makes you a great chef.

Yes, please, spaghetti sounds like a great idea! The stollen would make a nice dessert. Happy T Tuesday!

I like spaghetti, it’s always tasty. My son also cooks with headphones on, he takes hours to make lasagne but he does make all his own sauces too.
Your artwork is so bright and cheerful,
I hope you have a lovely Easter, take care

Colours put a smile in your life. Nice headphones, I love great sound.
We get some movement back on April 12th. Can travel again in our county which makes lots of people happy.

Interesting. I don't know of anyone in America who is laughing at Germany about the virus. We all think Germany is smart. We're the stupid ones or have been, though now witih Biden things are so much better with vaccine distribution. The headphones look great and I'm so glad you guys help take care of W -- and it sounds like he's kind to you as well.

What a fabulous post, there's so much to see that I don't know where to start ...lol 😉. Those Henry mugs are adorable, I'm not sure I would have been able to resist buying one! Your meals all look so delicious too, I'd like to try the yummy pasta please 😁. Your Easter art made me smile and I enjoyed seeing your journal pages too, is that a glass of beer I see - cheers! Wishing you a very Happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x

I used to have headphones like that. They are long gone, and I miss them, now. We love spaghetti here. Colorful post. Have a lovely Easter.

William Kendall said...

I'd go for that spaghetti.

I think your journal pages are very pretty. It's getting colder here at nights, days are still warm. Time to start cooking things like spaghetti sauce and beef casserole to fill the freezer.

Iris Flavia said...

Bill, yes, I never knew about such great sound, it´s a joy!!!
Yay for travel and colors, too. I could travel (who really controls this), but with mask on in overheated trains, no,thank you!

____

Jeanie, yes, it was in the news that America "laughs" about Germany, and I mean, yes. Vaccines (as untested as they might be) go everywhere but here they don´t have enough. Scandals on masks, sold for too much money, politicians had to go!...
Certainly I do take care of W, a) I do that and b).... we are people, right, we care. c)... others don´t, no idea why.... he´s a nice man in big sorrow.

____

Jo, 😁 thank you! And yes, I had a hard time not taking a Henry with me for real, LOL! No glassof beer, but cheers we go, I really have this Mexican (?) beer in the fridge! Hugs x

____

Sharon, Ingo had these headphones for 3+ years and I thought 300€ for stupid headphones?! (I paid, too, LOL).
Yes. They are worth every cent,I never knew how great these are!!! Get some as Easter-pressie?

____

William, too late, all munched up!

____

River, thank you - tips for those pages are still welcome, I´m not really happy with them! Hmmm... beef casserole sounds yummy! Not sure how to make that, though.
Yes. you get the nasty "cold" and we finally hop into warm weather!
