Here, Fishy!

Mural taken in Leederville / Perth in 2019 and certainly again I have...

There are many murals from Paul Deej to find there, I was lucky to see many and bet when I come back there will be more, you can have a peek here!

Other I suck at taking pictures!
We had a real nice, long chat at the Wirtshaus in Braunschweig and all I managed was to capture the guy who interrupted us!
See all the bells? Loud!

"He plays practical jokes on his contemporaries, at every turn exposing vices" (wiki)

If I´d known that he is right above us I would´ve brought these for our guests, aka our mural host & family!
Eulenspiegel "buk Uhlen un Apen, um den Bäckermeister Lipke auf die Schippe zu nehmen."  Darn it!
You can buy those owl and ape-shaped cookies at the tourist info!

The baker-man was baking bread (..pun!) when Till Eulenspiegel around 1400 asked for a job. If he knows how to bake, he asked, and Till said no, "oh! you can bake owls and apes, he?!", the baker yelled - and that´s what Till did! He sold them for a great price and the baker... he lost out! Till only gave him the money for the ingredients he used.

Yes, and sadly on Sundays shops are closed, so whilst I could´ve changed into my pressie from Sami (thank you!):

Ingo had no chance to try his:

Hmmmmm! We need proper bread rolls to honor this, thank you big again!

I remember last time when Sami sent me home with a big bag full of figs and grapes from their garden, all the way from the South of her home to Madely in the North.
And! You are not allowed to eat on Transperth!!!

Henry 🦁

His Cousins remember when we first met, at the Indiana 😘

Grace introduced us, mentioning Sami´d lived in Germany before, too.
I asked, "oh, where?" and Sami went, "a little town, you likely won´t know, Braunschweig."
What?! And... "As of 2015, the population of Braunschweig was 252,768.[47] Today Braunschweig is among the twenty German cities found to be most attractive to young people between the ages of 25 and 34, leading to an influx of younger residents".(wiki)
Attractive to younger people!
The youth Fire Brigade was having a festival right behind us yesterday.

Have a great holiday!
And I´m sorry for the shit#y weather Braunschweig "welcomed" you back with.

And I´ll bring those cookies! Or you pop in, it´s just around your corner.
Turn left and left.

I don't really think that fish is a highlight, but I took a look at Deej and there are beautiful paintings!

Well, maybe that was one of his first murals?

Nice fish mural. I tried to access the link for Deej's murals but it took a long time to load. I have not tasted fig jam. My fig plants just give me enough figs to pop into my mouth.

I do like that shirt.

Nancy, sorry about the link - it´s worth another try :-)
At least you have figs - they do not grow in our climate.

How nice to spend time with Sami! Nice gifts, too. I have never tried fig jam, though I have eaten figs a couple of times. Cheers! Enjoy your vacation, Sami.

That fish looks familiar, it's almost like a NZ Kingfish or a NZ Kahawai, both are quite oil fish and very tasty.
