Found in Braunschweig here:
On train stations and airports you always hear: "Lassen Sie Ihr Gepäck nicht unbeaufsichtigt!"
Since we live in times of terror it is quickly assumed that unattended luggage holds a ticking bomb and a squad will be on the way.
This bakery tries to take it with humor:
"Please never leave your pastries unattended!"

Ohh German cakes. "Our" baker in Salzgitter put out a sign with "Die Zwetschgen sind da" Munching times! I will never! let those unattended.
Poor Henry, no Gebäck for you.
Charlotte, LOL, Ingo loves those, too! With whip cream.
What a funny sign! The baker does indeed have a sense of humor. And a sense of language
:-) yes! To both.
..."Please never leave your pastries unattended!" Pastries have explosive calories? Thanks Iris.
Oh, right, Tom, that baker-guys are like really clever, LOL!
Trust me. I'd NEVER leave a pastry unattended!
Jeanie, LOL. I couldn´t care less - or won´t buy it in the first place. But do I "hate" it when I get a pizza and Ingo demands a piece 😉
Bakery with a sense of humour! Great but young Henry not amused.
Henry wants meat! ;-)
Well, I can understand being leery of unattended luggage. But, pastries? Hmmm.
A wonderful time of year, the holidays.

Christine, oh, yes. Now we only need proper weather.
Cute and fun sign, Iris.
Yips, I thought you´ll like it.
Pastries unattended won't be for long.
I'm glad you didn't show lots of photos of those yummy pastries. You'd have me going to the kitchen looking for a snack if you did. Smile. Hugs-Erika
My favourite is pain au chocolat, memories of learning French at school of which I was hopeless LOL
