Pic taken in Kingsway Caravan Park, Madeley/Perth, and Ingo... don´t say a word!
LENOVO still works fine!
bertiebo´s last blog-post - have a look here, so wonderful!!!
I did write about Da Nico from my home-town where I got my "Ten without Ham" since age 14 and despite the number had changed they always knew it´s me and it goes to Braunschweig.
Madeley/Perth.
The same, a bit different (sorry, I am not Spock (have you read the book? And "I am Spock", too?)), for a human this might make sense, same, yet different, I mean - skip the logic. LLAP...
(Books from Second hand shops in Australia 1999)
At Kingsway Shopping Center was (sadly was!) a little grocery store.
The kids helped there, too.
We came in every two years, daily for 5 weeks+. Best tomatoes, avocados, mangoes... much better than at next door Woolies, who are the fresh food people!
Woolies sure has all the other stuff we needed and is like really good, too!
"Our" lille shop: Mango not ripe yet, the owner gave us a very good alternative.
The kids grew up, but still helped. Between college even.
We chatted and they all always went, "what, two years gone by again already?!"
They still had an accent but chatting was easy, we often told each other(!) what we are or have been up to.
Last time, and that sadly really was a last time (ALDI is there now as far as I know), when I went, the female owner (woah, sometimes German is easier, would be Eigentümerin) said, "wait!!!" and I got a good-bye-pressie! Nearly frozen fruit of different sorts.
Once she grabbed my shoulder, took my hand and told me her story (they´re from Iran).
We were a bit more than but a customer...
Here in Germany we don´t have that!
One cash-out lady we know by name, but that´s it.
How about in your place?
And isn´t it nice how blogger-friends trigger your memories?
´Straya and RED is one, huh?
Here comes my bit for Erika´s Red:
Bought this lunchbox from "The little bitty Fun Company" in 1995, I think, somewhere in Australia, the lille "tool-box" holds pegs for hanging the laundry instead of sandwiches and it still, after all those years, is RED :-)

Ingo got bacon, guys, K?
Addendum: Found FUN recipes for kid´s lunchboxes from Woolies here!

...I wish that I had my lunch boxes from the 50s, they are collectable.
It's fun to go back and relive a trip, isn't it? Sometimes going back is better than when you were there, at least for a couple of moments when I've traveled. I'm loving your red lunch box. I had a red plaid one when I started school, metal, rectangular. They came with a thermos, which I didn't use because I could buy milk at school for next to nothing. I think it was 3 cents. I'd forgotten about that lunch box. Oh to the good old days. Glad you had a sleep in. Enjoy your weekend. hugs-Erika
And I totally forgot to say thanks for sharing this with us at AJJ also. I think I need to get some breakfast into me so I can think straight. So thank you again. It's always fun to see your sketches. Smile.
Henry in Valentine mode!
Netflix had I Am Spock. Loved it. Leonard Nimoy was from Boston. Nice that you got a pressie. I like when I go someplace and stores, cashiers, waitresses know me. I had a Hopalong Cassidy lunchbox when I was 6. Like Tom said, I wish I still had it as it's probably worth a small fortune. Have a good weekend.
Tom, if we only knew back then! This one is but plastic...

Erika, really? You could buy milk at school?!
So different here!!!
I must ask my Brother what his kids get as luch to school and how!
Often .. always? .. I just got ready packed food from the store. My parents were busy.
No matter how busy I ALWAYS prepare brekkie and luch for Ingo! To another sleep in - hugs!

Yes. I think worth a lot! As the video cassettes I found.
Life is crazy... To a great weekend!
I had cowboys on my lunchbox. I wanted to be a cowboy when I grew up, I had a cowboy hat too but couldn't find a horse. :)
I never had a lunchbox because I walked home for lunch. The school was just a couple of blocks from home.
Bill, oh, I saw horses, but had no cowboy hat! ;-)
These days neither....

RedPat, hm. Lucky you? Or did you miss out on playtime that way?
I can't recall off hand having a lunch box.
Leonard Nimoy was quite talent, in many fields.
Coffee is on and stay safe
I remember the Little Bitty Company, they also made little bitty rubbish bins for your desk top, people put pens and pencils in them. I shall google and see if the company is still around.
Woolies is my closest supermarket and very handy for a lot of things, but if I want fruit and vegetables, eggs too, I go across the main road to Foodland where it is all much better.
William, I had none... And.. yes. I cannot remember, either, hoe I got my food to school!

Dora, yes, quite an artist and musician, too!

River, really??? Oh! I never knew about the Little Bitty Company, I thought (thinking) it´s a joke!!!
Woolies is still better than anything you get here!
Foodland I never saw?
Foodland is South Australia only, not nation wide.
