I Didn´t Know I Did Not Know, But I Knew!

Short break before a meeting - this is too good not to share!

I certainly knew the episode referred to in today´s calendar-page in an instant (despite we have the German titles).
But I never knew this is based on a Hitchcock-film!!!!!
Rear Window - do you know it? I want to see it now!

Boy. I have a book that claims we secretly learn math through watching The Simpsons, but we learn much more!

Sorry, three posts today (if interested just scroll down for some fun) and maybe you think "duuuuhhhh... EVERYONE knows the connection!"
I did not... does it count the movie was broadcast before I was born? 😉

I don't know either, and I am surely old enough - born same year as die Mauer was build ;)

Bill, I´ll have to look out for it then!!!

Charlotte, we both were born in some crazy years. I was born when the terrorist fell in in Munich at the Olympics 1972...

I have been scrolling down and enjoying your sketches and photos. I really don't like Hitchcock, too scary for me. I have never been to Perth, but it looks like a nice place.

gigi, I only know "The birds" of Hitchcock - scary but well done!

I must admit that I have never watched the Simpsons, so I have no idea what Hitchcock film this refers to. (Sorry, I'm not good at films)
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca

Rear Window is really good. But my favourite Hitchcock films are North By Northwest and To Catch A Thief.

I did not know it was a Hitchcock film. I think there was a later remake but can't be sure. I'm not a fan of Horror movies.

I have watched the Simpsons.

Iris Flavia said...

William, I only really know that one with the birds. Shame on me!
But they don´t show them on TV, or I never see it in time?

____

Dora, I just didn´t know it, but I am eager to watch! Blogger still won´t let me comment - at least you have an e-mail address, so I left my comment there.

____

River, I simply didn´t know the movie at all, but loved the The Simpsons episode, very well done! Funny, not scary :-)

Nancy, was a great episode, was it? :-)

Rear Window is one of my all-time favorite movies. Yes, you must see it! Perfect casting-- James Stewart, Grace Kelly at her most luminous, Thelma Ritter with one wisecrack after another and a perfect villain in Raymond Burr! Brilliant!
