Today is my last day at ALSTOM 😥
(Lunch break now)
Got a Teams-invitation from ALSTOM-teamleader titled "your current last day at Team Tram Frankfurt".
My Excel magician was there as well (in the office) and later admin joined, too, as did my ESE-teamleader via Teams.
It was bitter-sweet.
I managed not to cry.
They all... we all are sad I have to take a break.
They said they learned so much through my deep questions with problems others simply would´ve given up on. And that we always had a good laugh whilst learning from each other.
My magician is to save my OneNote for when I come back. When, not if!!!!
I have private numbers from both teamleaders to stay in private contact and if work pops up, they´ll send it via e-mail (no idea who pays what but it´s wonderful).
When the problems on the physical tram in Barcelona, Spain, are solved ALSTOM calls me back for Documentation & Translation Management.
I am so thankful I was allowed to work with the best team ever.
Even magician laughed about me saying, I don´t mind working occasionally 11+ hours as it is fun...
But really. It was FUN! Then it does not feel like work (much).
How about you?
A prospect on what´s to come, see tomorrow...

Awwww, ALSTOM-Admin called me to say good-bye, too...
And whilst saving OneNote ALSTOM-teamleader joined and we had a lot to laugh about! I miss them all already!

Does this mean you are unemployed now, or have you moved onto another team? I've missed that connection somehow Iris? Hugs-Erika
I was wondering the same as what Erika said-did you lose your job or just something you were working on? Hugs
...I hope that something exciting pops up.
Heres wishing you are called for work soonest!
Erika and Kathy, ESE is no company that throws one out just like that, I think I found the golden pot with them!
The tram-docu pauses and I will join other small ESE-projects till I can go back to ALSTOM - but I will still work for ESE - call me subcontract worker or temporary staff, external staff.
I worked like that via CGS for Volkswagen for 16 years.
All "good" - hugs to you both

Tom, well see tomorrow - I didn´t want to bore ya all to death with this ;-)
magiceye, Monday it is :-)
Just another project...
I hope something else comes along that's equally fun until you can get back to Alstom 🚃
good news-hugs
It sounds like you'll be back again.
CJ, Equally fun is difficult. But useful at least - I hope, see tomorrow...

Kathy, yes, ESE seems to be great, hugs to that
____
William, I think so, too, I hope for it!
How sweet! I hope you can return to your job ASAP.
Wishing you the best!
About watercolour pencils, I learned to dip the brush in water and wet the pencil colour afterwards and it brightens the colours nicely
gigi, yes, I hope for Autumn...
____
Christine, thank you.
Thank you, I will give the pencils another go. Soon. ATM I have too much fun with the palette...
I hope you are back with your team soon, Iris.
You'll be starring in a sequel before you know it.
RedPat as fast as time runs these days it might (hopefully) be in a blink of an eye...
____
Bill, I really so hope so. I miss them...
Big Hugs
"When not if" sounds hopeful.
I remember when work was fun for all the years at the shoe factory, for the first few months it was "work" while I was learning the job, then I really enjoyed it and it was just fun for nine years until the factory closed.
Love your job and you will never work a day in your life. That is my philosophy. I like WHEN, not IF, too.
Wishing you the best.
Coffee is on, and stay safe.
Having a work experience like this is such a gift.
Padre, thank you...
____
River, same here, the first time was so stressy, but once you get it... FUN!

Dora, thank you...

Jeanie, yes, I was soooo lucky!
I am so happy to read how lucky you are. It wasn't too long ago your posts were filled with dread because you had no job. Now you have the best job ever. I am so happy for you.
Yes, having no job is a lot of stress...
I really hope to get back to ALSTOM, though!
