Try This - It´s AMAZING... And A Shower

Live in a place where you get good avos and have no idea what to eat on the weekend?
Try this:

This is a recipe by Jamie Oliver for Avocado pastry quiche, just have a look:

And here is the recipe for you if you hate FB.

Really - FB helped me along a LOT!
It had a bad reputation, I agree.
But used "wisely" it is great.

Only due to FB Ingo became a volunteer in Perth for "The Giants"

He even got to see her taking a shower! I was early for the opening show, but taller people were already there and I saw nothing. Ingo filmed the following "from the inside"...

Please note the guy sitting on the machine to the left - he suffers a BAD JETLAG, LOL.
They came from Nantes, France, and also feared it might rain. In summer...

In the news they said this was "the biggest Perth event ever!".
And Facebook had informed me in time they look for volunteers.
Ingo was the only European one.

Also friends can easily help me via Facebook when I have trouble to book something in Perth, Australia, from Braunschweig, Germany.
Or if we just wanna chat.

When Ingo was so severly sick a friend from USA opened my account for me (hence the "other" surname) to help explain the things doctors did not.

And certainly you find ALL the videos Jamie Oliver shares!
You find funnies, and yes. Be careful... I now get suggestions for math courses all the time. I searched once for a math problem et voilá... I ignore that. They mean "well", but... no.

I never had any "problems" with FB.

And avo! Hmmmm... when I find two proper ones, guess...
Lasagna and Onion Cake!

Sadly for some reason it´s hard to get the "right" avocados here.
Either hard as stone and then finally when you think, "now"... already black inside or ... well, we got disappointed so often.
Wish me luck (Ingo likes neither recipes, but I´d bring him an extra-avo 😘).
And next year... we´ll have an avo in the arvo morno each day for 6 weeks when we´re in Perth!

Avocados, you can have them. Like all tech, FB is good and bad. I like it because it keeps me in contact with friends and colleagues who live very far away. I didn't realize your connection to the Little Giant. That is so cool!

Yes, that is why I have her as background :-)
It really was a once-in-a-lifetime-event.
I hate crowds, but people behaved well and it was SO amazing!
Maybe I publish some more videos we have taken...

Yes. Ask one, ONE question about a math-prob, or, no, I think the Mandelbrot-post from blogger caused this...

...Ingo is quite the fellow!

Yes, The Little Giant Girl was safe thanks to him 😉

The song playing in the background in the video is a very popular Hindi folm song!

Thanks for the recipe. Facebook is planning to stop its news to Canada because Canadian publishers want them to pay

Man, I can't believe you'll be in Oz for SIX weeks. Enjoy! As for Facebook, I like it, too, but never post there, preferring to write my blog.

Great movie of the "giant girl". I hadn't seen it yet.
It certainly was a great experience and such a popular event.

I don't do facebook but love Jamie as you know. I will have to check out the recipe. I used to get wonderful avocados at a small local grocery store but they closed up so now have the same issues that you have.

Sometimes when we buy avocados, the insides are all ready gone and we have to throw it out. There's no way to know when they are like that. We had a good run on them and then we had two that were off. Oh well.

That event with the little giant girl may be from the same production company that did something called La Machine here in 2017.

Avocado? No thank you, I don't like them.
I do wish I could see The Giants for real though. If they ever tour again and come to Adelaide I'll be there with my camera.

I love avocados! And I've never had any issues with FB either. At least not so far!

____

gigi, yes, I SO look forward to Perth!
FB also rather for contact/surfing

____

Julie, yes to that! :-)

____

Sami, yes, a once in a lifetime, I guess, especially for Ingo!

____

Bill, sad, cause (here) they are rather expensive...

____

River, it´s like Vegemite, I don´t like that!
Yes, totally weird, some Perth friends only showed up for the last day! And then were sorry for it, of course.
I went on all three days.

Jeanie, knock on wood :-)
