Today I join Rain´s Thursday Art and Dinner Date with "plaid".
Reckon good ole Sherlock didn´t really look like this, but I thought of him think that pattern...
And for the dinner-date: It.Is.Summer. Well, more or less. Today another cold one.
No party planned - these last a year at least, smaller amount too expensive.
The internet-series:
"33 retro dishes that are rarely served today
Pork medallions
In the 1970s, almost every self-respecting French restaurant had pork medallions on the menu. Traditionally, the dish was served with a creamy mustard or mushroom sauce. Although many restaurants still serve similar dishes today, the word “medallions” has largely disappeared - unless you go to a retro restaurant."

The horse sausages look like hotdogs. Next time I go to the store I will check the ingredients list on a pack of hotdogs and see what they are made from.
The pork medallions look lonely on that big plate, they need some vegetables, something with colour like broccoli and carrots.
Here you have special horse-butcher for this, also in Italy.
Since we once got very sick from IKEA hot dogs I never had one again.... Maybe about time (from somewhere else!).
Reckon in the 1970´s meat was the main ingredient?
...horse sausages?
Yupp. Yum.
Oh your detective is adorable! So is Henry in disguise! Are those sausages really made of horse meat? We had some last night but they were all beef. Happy Thursday! hugs-Erika

Horse sausages???? Made from horses?? Oh dear. They look like hotdogs.
The pork medallions sound delicious, actually.
Still with a smile, kinda! ;-)
Thank you!
Horse is lean and yummy. Actually not THAT special... Best made on the BBQ... Or you get them at the Christmas market. Or in my home-town, where I grew up every, Saturday, village nearby every Wednesday... etc...
