Are You Itchy (Or Scratchy)?

Isn´t this too cute?

This Joey is for ....

 ... Eileen.

 Our animal today:

This lille fella, a Wallaby, went after me for food, but a) I don´t feed them, it´s not good for them and b) I had nothing, showed my bare hands - came after me anyways so I called for Ingo, who´d just finished his coffee and filled the mug with water. Phew. Everybody happy.
They have claws and are wild animals, just saying...

Have a crittery Saturday!

Hello Iris,
I love the cute Joey video! Adorable critter. I am glad Ingo came to your rescue and offered water to the wallaby. Wild animals can be scary. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend! PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

Yes, small as the Wallaby is... they are strong and have claws! There were also 2m tall roos there - give way ;-)
To a great weekend.

Haha, definitely too cute! Good call not feeding it. Glad everyone ended up happy (and un-scratched)!

Kangaroos might be well adapted animals, but they definitely have their quirks. Itching is one of them. Thanks for sharing this Iris. hugs-Erika

Thanks to Ingo for being there and giving water. I was at a zoo/wildlife park many years ago with friends from work and there were wallabies roaming freely and being fed by people and when the food ran out they just kept following for a while, the food was bought by the bagful from a kiosk. I remember there were camels too and you could feed them if you wanted, but I just took photos. This was the same place where I held a koala.

Maybe it´s like us taking a shower? To being clean, hugs on that!

LOL, sorry about that! ;-) Yes, Ingo sure did save me!

I remember the koala-pic :-)
Back in the day the people gave white bread to the roos/wallabies. They got stomach ache but when that was over they went for more.
In Caversham Wildlife park, for example, they have proper roo-food for free.
