Monday:  Grace & Pat took us to the1950-1970's!!!

FINALLY Jamie on TV- using flour. FLOUR!!!

After I got self raising flour at ALDI as it is NOT AVAILABLE in Germany!! I feel cheated! 

 

 

 

Tuesday: Spider bite kept me home. Postcards written, Birthday-pressie bought, lazy day.

Wednesday: Our neighbors must be from ALSTOM. The F-word is fluent 😂

Off to Freo to check out the pub Sami pointed us to. In the fish and chips the fish tasted fishy, uggggg... Who ever thought of that?! 😉

Then Maritime museum where we found something from Hamburg, Germany (post to come).

 

Thursday: Joondalup. Tons I did not buy and tons I had to...

Pie from JESTERS!!! Took two home, two more  brekkies for me as Ingo didn't want to.

Friday: I had a microwaved Morning Glory and Sat an evil Ned Kelley-pie.

Grace picked me up early and off we took to Cottelsoe to meet Sami and visit Sculpture by the Sea. Posts to come - bare with me... a tiny laptop is a pain for me!

Sami then dropped me off in Freo where I said GOOD BYE to Ingo's smoking pipe FOR GOOD!!!

 

 

I CERTAINLY listened to Sami and did NOT kick it into the water, I  said bye-bye here:

 

 

PLEASE, PLEASE make help Ingo quit smoking for good, no vapors, either.

I lost both parents in a long process to cancer due  to smoking....

 

Also had no worries having a beer on my own in the pub or half a Grill'd. 

Took a while but I'm all grown up now.

 

 

In my upbringing, and I am a very shy introvert (or was?) being "alone" meant you are a failure.

It took me a long way to overcome this, and I did!

We saw oil to spray here in 2006. We found it in Germany only after... 2015???
Self-raising flour.... give it ten years to come to Germany.

We do not even have engineers anymore, I am one of the last. You get a "batchelor", then "master". Thank you, Angela  Merkel, Germany was on the way down with her and Smurf "Chancellor" Olaf Schulz gives us the final push down the drain....

On Friday we all (minus Ingo) went to Sculpture by the Sea (pics to come when I have proper gear "at home") , I went into the sand and....

 

 

Either my sun allergy hit again after 1995 (unlikely !!!) or some other darn insect got me, as Sami assumed! My whole body looks still like this, itching like crazy. My face, too (belongs to the body, right).

I now have an idea in how much pain  people with Neurodermitis or Atopic dermatitis are, it is truly horrible!

 

To not let you wonder (and to refer to my second love in last post, this is a partner tattoo (Ingo has his on his chest):

I don't wanna brag, but I have to:

Ingo is like Freddie a bit. He can do magic in electronics and he his (not that rich but) as generous. He never forgets the "little people", he does the little things like helping prams into a bus, open a door etc, etc...He can be a pain, too. Can't we all?

 

Freddie??? Yes, his best was in the 1970's and what did our host's Hubby  give me???

 

 

The most "coolest" beer I have EVER seen.

Grace  and Pat just the other day took us to 1950's-1970's heaven and promptly the night after I dreamed we moved into a bigger condo and I was able to accept the old sofa from our parents!!!

Let's Go Cuddly!

 We are back at Caversham Wildlife Park. These big guys are cuddly!

1993 Ingo went to Australia with his Brother and a friend (his Brother just booked the ticket!!!).

They slept in a tent and one night such a cuddly guy from the outside, well, cuddled up to Ingo!

Now tell me again animals cannot think! (Ingo was warm inside and the poor fella felt cold).

 

Also this one looks cuddly, don't you think?

 

 

Possum and carer are just content and relaxed (in all the noise!).

 

Also 1995: Bowling Green Bay National Park: A possum wanted a snack. Boy, they can be persistent, but we only gave one cracker. We don't want to make them sick!

It went over to a lady who wanted to cuddle it -but it wanted food, and hey,the do have claws.

Try not to laugh about that rather big lady calling the poor possum nasty cause she made contact with those claws in a not so nice way...

It was a much darker,smaller one, when home I can share pics.

If careful they are cute guys!

 

 You certainly could play with the "cold" dudes!

 

 

This fella was too big for my liking (and the queue rather long),but, not my hand but I gave him or her a lille touch:

Ingo stopped  our car back then to get one of these lizards off the road. 

It got mad and showed it's blue tongue (maybe I still have a pic back at home).

I have no time to sketch (yes, a holiday can be "stressy"), so just some smiles for Annie's Smiles....

 I think I was born after THIS! LOL! My Dad - I am in Perth now and have no access to old pics but my Dad was also crazy 😍

 

 Usually we watched Sesame Street in the original here in Perth. Has switched to a channel we have no access to.....

We loved this. Germany has since 1980 or such a terrible German version. Dad and Irefused to watch, so Bro was on his own....

 

 Also The Simpsons.... no such luck (in Germany we get them translated,it was always a treat so watch  them here!).
