With all the hype going on here in Australia and Perth with Taylor Swift and P!nk performing I thought, hm, which artist would I like to see life in concert?

Oh boy, what concert? I can't think of any, actually. I really enjoy small venues, especially if friends are playing. We are fortunate to have quite a few musician friends and acquaintances and try to go to their events, although since Covid we have not gone much at all. Got out of the habit I guess. Our friends play mainly old-time mountain music, folk, or bluegrass. I used tobsing a lot of old Appalachian and English/Scottish ballads, but haven't sung since I retired from storytelling. It was such fun to get together with other singers and swap songs. I miss that.
Wait, I did think of someone. Yo-yo Ma. Love his music.
I haven't thought about Joshua Kadison in years! If I remember correctly he sounds a bit like Elton John? but better.
The twins mum, S, went to the Pink concert here in Adelaide, she remembered to wear lots of sunscreen and drink lots of water, so she had a fabulous time, but many fainted from the heat and b=needed care and every so often Pink would stop singing and remind people to hydrate. There were a few hoses speraying the crowd a bit too and one time Pink stopped the whole concert and called for first aiders to come and help some people near the stage, said she wasn't going to sing again until those people were helped.
I am really glad that she cares so much for her fans.
My sister just saw Donny Osmond in Vegas, good show she said. He is 66 now

I'm not up on the current music makers. I think the last concert I saw about 30 years ago was Bob Seger. I prefer to listen to classical music and with Summer on the way, maybe a trip out to Tanglewood in western Massachusetts. Tanglewood is the Summer home for the BSO (Boston Symphony Orchestra)
Reading River's comment. The same happened in Perth, when we saw her this Saturday. She must have seen a commotion close to the stage and she asked if someone wasn't well and she called for the Paramedics to come and help out. She did mention the heat, even though it was a night concert and reminded people to drink.
I don't like crowds so I have only been to one concert when I was in my 20's I like country or folk type of music.
I have been to so many concerts in my life but I never saw the Rolling Stones and wish that I had back in the day. Can't think of any one else off the top of my head, Iris.
