With these happy faces I join Nicole's FFO - again Tom did the magic, I get these two on FB now all the time - with new content/sketches,too!
I have the (old) whole series at home, such fun to get the new ones here!
I have no time to sketch (yes, a holiday can be "stressy"), so just some smiles for Annie's Smiles....
- and fun!
I think I was born after THIS! LOL! My Dad - I am in Perth now and have no access to old pics but my Dad was also crazy 😍
Usually we watched Sesame Street in the original here in Perth. Has switched to a channel we have no access to.....
We loved this. Germany has since 1980 or such a terrible German version. Dad and Irefused to watch, so Bro was on his own....
Also The Simpsons.... no such luck (in Germany we get them translated,it was always a treat so watch them here!).
Ingo is off to the city and Kings Park whilst Grace'll pick me up to meet Sami and we meet in Cottelsoe at Sculpture by the Sea!!!

Love the moon pics. I hope you're having a great time.
...Iris, you have come up with some neat stuff. The Maggie mural is the bomb! I hope that you are getting around better.
The moon pictures are great. Mural Maggie is excellent. I haven't seen Sesame Street since the original when my kids were little.
I hope you enjoy Sculpture by the Sea. Wear plenty of sunscreen. How is your foot?

River, I miss both series here! Heaps of sunscreen and foot MUCH better, too! Yippee....
Interesting moon photo though I found it a bit worrying that someone might be able to take it away though Lol! The 70s certainly had something to answer for Lol! Have a great day. Hugs Angela xXx
LOL.... I do remember those "dress for the 70s" clothes. We wore some weird stuff.
Hope the foot is 100% back to normal. It sounds like you're busy having fun. That's what a vacation is meant to be. Happy March. hugs-Iris
I love how folk film the moon pics...I've seen several lately. Your blog made me smile today.
Hugs,

Very fun faces, Iris!
The 1970s clothes made me laugh.
Glad you are having a good time. I hope your foot is a lot better. You don't mention it so I assume it is.
I don't watch the Simpsons, but the little Maggie mural is great.
And that photo series about stealing the setting sun/ or moon perhaps, is great. I've seen some friends of mine do this.
That 70s outfit made me laugh out loud really. What were we like!
Have a good weekend,
Lisca
Fun selections
I think I must have pics of my dad in clothes like that!
Love the Maggie mural. And it so good that the foot is getting better, Iris.

You found some amusing images this week. SO glad you are having fun in Australia, seeing people that are only electronic to most of us.

Your dad looks and sounds like he was a funny guy, the 1970s fashion sure left alot to be desired.

Amy, haha, that is not my Dad, but he wore fun clothes, too!
I still have some clothes (new but made 70s style).
Sounds like you're having fun, Iris! I met a Scotsman from Perth at our favorite bar last week. He was meeting his brother from California. We had a grand chat and it was lovely to hear a real Scottish accent again. I don't miss the 70s styles. Enjoy your days in Perth!
These are great! Especially the moon one. And Maggie!
Sorry iris. I am a bit out of touch. I gather you have had a problem with your foot. I hope it is healing now.
My boys loved the Simpsons and Sesame street, but usually they watched them when I was busy. I did get a bit tired of all the reruns, but we still see a few of the later series out here.(We watch English TV. Our Spanish is not good enough for a long time viewing.
Tigger on the other hand was always one of my favourites. He must be nearly as old as me! Kate x
