I Wish You Luck

It´s kinda ironic. I could´ve found this Thursday in two weeks, when I will likely help Bro again with the house.
But I found it last Thursday:
This was a poem for Mother´s Day I copied down in grade three.

See... even back then my face turned dumb when a camera came to view ;-)

I can´t remember if I was able to pick one or if we all had to do the same.
But it fits it´s about a bouquet of sweet woodruff. It comes in green and white which is described as "humble", that´s what our parents told us to be, sadly, I have to say.
I still have difficulties to stand up for myself.

"I wish you, Mother, lots of luck", it ends.

Well.
Bet Bro will lay down some flowers on your grave today, Mum.
I´m sad you´re gone.

In this signature below my name isn´t shown as my Dad chose it, as the colorful part of the eye, but this is the flower.
Last Thursday I found - already dried - seeds of that flower in my Mum´s place.
She wanted to plant them.
Life just sucks at times.

Maybe there's a reason you found it this week, instead of it waiting to be found the next time you're there. Maybe (if you're willing to take a little leap with me) it's a way for the world to let you know that your mum is still around and that she's still loving you. Maybe, instead of thinking of all the reasons that it sucks you could try looking at it from the other side? How wonderful that you found it this week, in time for Mother's Day so that, even though she's not here, you can think of her with love. But if that doesn't work, then sending lots of love and big cyber hugs to you because sometime it does just suck. xx

Thank you, Mandi - sometime I wish I could just come over for a real little hug.
Maybe she still is around somehow, I love to think so.
So here goes, again: To Mum. I love you and I miss you.
