Two-Times-Beautiful

Our good ole Maggi Magni-Quarter...

I found this cute second hand-shop, such a nice name, no, Zweimalschön?

It´s charity only and quite frankly, when I have something to give away again I will donate it to them and not to the German Red Cross that sells the clothes to, amongst other, Africa, where it´s not donated to those in need, but sold. I saw a documentary on it.

You don´t even have to give personally, but can do it here without much fuss.

I don´t like people to thank me for things I can afford easily, things I consider normal.
And believe me, I know what I´m talking about.

A little rant is due now.
The B2E-project I work for has an "internal eBay-like platform".

I have to monitor the content cause for example computer-games that are free from 18 years+ are not allowed since also trainees use the portal.
My highlight was a "used bathroom rubbish bin for €5 - asking price".
Asking price!!!
Used bath.... Ewww.

Or the other day there was a used blue potty for little boys for €10.
A plain one, nothing special even.
You get better ones, new, from €7,99 on online.

As you can guess, despite the scandal, my customer is rather not considered "poor".

Certainly not all of them are like that.

Pre-loved, btw, I got from a sign at a car-dealer in Perth :-)
The German word is plain "gebraucht", used.
Not that creative, huh?

Zweimalschön :-)

I like the term "pre-loved" too, sound so much nicer that used!
I also like to donate stuff I no longer use and I find the Salvation Army and other such stores are great!
I've also read something about the Red Cross, shame on them, people donate to Africa why should they sell them the clothes?

I generally wear my favorites to the point that they are well beyond recyclable. That's when they're perfect. :-)

Oh, my, the Red Cross even is known for that out of Germany?! Good thing, actually.
Revrunner, my favorites I don´t give away, either ;-)
