Got It
Aw, doesn´t this sunflower look sad?
If you asked me we could have summer all year round!
Glad there are those still:
But you can´t deny it...
It is sunny, so I stepped on the balcony and decided: No jacket needed if I walk fast.
Huiiiii.
9C. I could walk myself warm indeed, but my hands and ears, by golly!
But I just had to go!
I´ve been in the city yesterday to buy another salad bowl and I saw a cuppa.
And thought, no, you don´t need another cuppa, the cupboard is full!
I bought some great tea, though, three types of mint, and when I opened said cupboard.
Hmmmm. Yes, I had sorted stuff out, not full at all!
And hence... guess ;-)
There were only three left, hence I was there this morno 5 minutes after the shop had opened.
Well. And when you get stuff for €1... someone has to stop me!!!
But it makes me smile (and "Life is better when you smile" (see sign to the right).
And with the cooler temps, this week was:
Brussels Sprouts and Cheddar Cheese Soup :-)
Lion of the day:
Not just deco!
Reckon another stroll to the city is due with Ingo who´ll take a platypus with him :-)

Looks like a kind of "Monster Soup" (A kissing Monster?)
You´re just jealous ;-)
9C 😱 that IS chilly Iris! Love brussel sprouts but P doesn't, so I don't cook them much, sad! Love your passion for red and white spots 🍓🍉😀😀 Looking forward to seeing a certain platypus on it's new home 😉
Well, I only cook the soup for myself, too - you can also freeze it :-)
I have the feeling I slowly overdo it with the dots ;-)
Ingoo will make an appointment today or tomorrow but usually you have to wait at least a month as it seems to be a real good studio!
I have planted sunflowers for the first time this year. Currently just a few seedlings. My husband loves tea and collecting tea pots. That dotty one would go down well here.
My Dad loved sunflowers.
So sad both are no more, well, the latter will be back next year :-)
Oh, I wonder how many tea pots you have then!
That is a tasty soup (thanks for the link back) :)
I enjoyed seeing all of your photographs.
All the best Jan
Thank you, Jan, for this great, easy receipe!!
Oh, and yummy one, too! :-)
