Are You In Yours?

Here I sit and wait for a phone call.
Cause phone calls is all we get, no personal meeting.

I stay home, pad to write info down but, no phone call.

I could need.... but she is...

OK, I admit, I´ve never visited her, just passed by.
Somehow, with waiting for help and getting able to cook, I´m not so interested in fast food no more.

My "Mama", I called her "Mutti", my Brother "Mami" and Ingo called her "Brunhilde".
Funny, the Siegfried-quarter, based on Sigurd is just around the corner - for a Braunschweig-person at least. To others that sooo far to walk ;-)

My oldest Uncle´s name is Siegfried, it´s a small world, is it.

This is for "Tom´s "Signs 2".

I hope we all live in ONE universe soon again.
And yes, that´s the sign of a cinema.

HAHA, addendum!!

I got "the" phone call. Finally.
From the employment office. "My" contact-lady said it was right to not try on my own and ruin chances to work in Braunschweig - most end up at Wolfsburg and I don´t want that no more.

I´ll end up in a team called Inga.
Yes, IngA, not IngO,well, I´ll have them both :-)

"Corinna" or not - she laughed her head off when I told her how we call Corona now.... Valerie, I think it spreads alot! I am apologizing for all those whose name really is Corinna, but we need to have some humor in our lives, especially now.

Either via phone or in person Inga will help me.
No more than 10 km to work, that´s the plan.
Just say "buh" and I crash, it´s getting worse with age. Very much worse. you don´t want me driving a car in Europe....

Maybe things turn to the better now! Maybe!!!

Lion of the day:

He wants to be with us!!!

You're talking about food ... and I get hungry every time ... don't do it again!
Can I place an order? I want a
Grilled Chicken Salad, a Pizza Dallas the Crispy Chicken Wings with Cheesepotatoes and a large Fanta ?! Those are things that I shouldn't eat, but I can live out here! And I don't get fat from ... Thank you!
And now I'm going to make a sandwich in the kitchen! Bon appétit!
A little huge hug for you! xoxo

It has to be a tough time to try to find a job. I am retiring from my job but with this virus it is a tough time to do that too since you can't do anything else. I maybe should have worked an extra year, but no, who knew? And that's OK. Good luck with Inga. And Happy Wednesday. Hugs-Erika

Yay to retiring, no? I wish I could. My work over the last years was but good. Yet so comphy to sit in there...
At least the weather is getting better, there are no security guys and most shops anymore... so, to a happy Wednesday, and thank you for the wishes, too! Hugs - Iris

Good luck with your employment search. Things along those lines are bad here in Connecticut US, too. :-(

Well, by being unemployed you know what it is like to be retired. Lol. David and I have been retired for years now, so this social isolation is nothing new. By being retired, we have less income, but we do collect Social Security and we have savings.

Iris Flavia said...

Anne, yes, it´s bad everywhere, let#´s hope for the best!

gigi, to be honest at times I´d like the thought of being retired! Less money, yes. But more life...

It sounds like you could be turning the page to more opportunities. A little help can do wonders for you. Good luck, stay positive and onward you go. Nice and sunny today, went out for a 5km walk this morning and it was great. Little adjusts can make you happy. Have a wonderful evening, Iris.

Thank you, Bill, I need to get out more, too, but it´s so cold!!!
Still, let´s have a nice evening :-)

Team Inga! What is that all about Iris? You sound more hopeful than you have in a while, this is good oui?

Iris Flavia said...

Grace, team Inga is a local group that knows where which work is available, for real - not like "we are a Braunschweig company, blablabla, and btw, your workplace is Wolfsburg".
I do hope!

I hope Inga can find you a job soon, and close to home too. I'm happier now I retired 7 years ago.

Iris Flavia said...

Oh, River, crazy as it sounds I hardly can´t wait for that, also. That or a really fun job!

Iris I visited the website of mama's and I was so hungry in an instant ahhhh! I laughed so hard when you apologized to people really named as Corrina that was so funny but very sweet and thoughtful of you just in any case you have readers named Corrina. During my first visits on your blog, I myself was like, wait, who's Corrina? Until I get to know its real meaning through my visits haha. There is a TV personality/journalist here named Korina and it's very funny because she is becoming popular lately through here instagram comments and shading her bashers, super funny!

Love Henry's photo here!

Hugs my dear friend and Happy Thursday!

Hopefully the right job will be with you soon. It is not easy being out of work, but not always easy when one is "retired" either (more time but less money!). Hugz, Mxx

Jan, thank you, can take a while...

I love the sign! that's very promising about Inga. Good news. I loved the sign and the Corinna cracks me up, as does your apology. I never really thought about that before -- My last name is Croope which sounds like the croup (a lung disease -- how ironic!) and I've lived with that forever! Corinna, at least, is a prettier name!
