Bureaucracy And Mrs P

So. As many these days we stood in line, waiting.
Call it German bureaucracy or Mrs P is everywhere, we had to wait.

Mrs P.... She was very beautiful when she was young, I guess. She was a secretary at Volkswagen.

I was a tiny external at Volkswagen working for CGS, which my contact person, why ever spells in English. Huh? Why?

Anyhows, Mrs P, now aged and not so beautiful anymore - some people add beauty with age, she did not - asked me daily, nearly daily what her password was, she cannot log in.
I think she was dumb but not that dumb, it was a game she played.

I once told her to take the "black explorer".
She had no clue I meant the black telephone. From that day on it was the "black explorer" to our whole team, when you were to call someone.
Payback!!!
Sorry, I really thought she´ll get that, but nada.

She came to work even before I turned in.
She signed in and then took her time with putting on make-up, a colleague found the stuff in the female toilet with her name on it in an envelope.
She used such a strong perfume and a huge amount, I had to open the window even in winter.

Ingo last week ordered something, got the answer it´s not available in one piece.
He said, "No worries, wait till all is there and send in one piece, please".

Nope. Somehow it not even ended up at Packstation, where you can go whenever you want, no, not our little post office, no.
At the MAIN post office, a 40 minutes walk one way in nasty weather.

"Mrs P is everywhere" is a synonym for "dumb people are everywhere".

So. we stood in line. For two dongles!!!! That would´ve fit into our mail box, too!
You have to get them or they´ll send back...

Suddenly a voice from behind...
"Excuse me, am I in line for the post office?"

LOL! He once was in the wrong line and this time - I had to wait outside, certainly - Ingo reported that poor guy also had ordered to Packstation, was sent here, and forgot his card.
We never knew if he got his parcel...

Did you see the man with the walker?
I sadly saw him only when Ingo was in - we would´ve asked him to step in front of us.
Not one bench there!

Whilst Ingo was in I stood reading my kindle.
Not one bench!
And there is lots of space.

I am "middle-aged", I was told, not old, yet.
But what if I broke my foot - I did that before! - or am old, you are forced to stand in line an hour???

Mrs P is everywhere...

Lion of the day:

They both have had it, like we do!
You, too?

Mevrouw P is niet overal ... In Nederland heb ik nog niet gezien zo lange rijen mensen, maar ik moet toegeven dat "domme mensen zijn overal".
I hate those women who "stink" at perfume that makes you sick! Brr …
From the Volkswagen ... I love the cars ... I have a white Polo, with an open top!
Enjoy your weekend, baby! A little BIG huh for you! xoxo

Ja, momentan steht man Schlange. Und ja, es gibt leider sehr viele dumme Menschen, aber auch Netten. Dir einen schönen Tag! GlgG, Valerie

I forgot ...
Those poor critters ... who did they behead?
I will never have something like that in my house ... not suddenly as cuddly toys!
xoxo

:-) Ella, I even understood your first sentence!!! Crazy!!
I had red Polos the last years, Company cars. Good quality, no perfume ;-)
Elephant-proof, too ;-)
The couple, Henry´s siblings, are in our museum. Don´t you worry!
A little BIG hug to you, my dear :-) xoxo

...waiting is what life is all about!

Yes. But you need to care of people. Benches! Some cannot stand an hour no more.

Your experience is being repeated around the world. Here we have special shopping hours for people with problems or who are old. I don’t know if the lines are shorter. Friends and relatives are doing our shopping for us, or we get orders to pick up without entering a store. All our parcels have been delivered, luckily. I don’t know if things are working better here. BUt our government is determined to make them worse.

be well... mae at maefood.blogspot.com

Mae, we have no such regulations here, but most .. most are sane.

I hope this all is over soon!
Well, who does not...

A LOT of Mrs. P's here in the P-lippines! And it gets really crazy I must say haha! It's cool that you worked at Volkswagen. My brother has a Red 1969 Red Beetle that he got from an old seller a long time ago and we used to ride it in short distances. Sad that he can't use it lately anymore because it's very expensive to renew the annual car tax here and besides, we don't go away from the city much lately. But the car is still with us and my dad always cleans it and it's always shiny and beautiful :)

Happy Weekend my dear friend Iris!

It's crazy they don't deliver such a small parcel into your post box.
Nowadays here the Post office has had to hire more people as people are ordering more and more stuff online, so they have to deliver.
Scary lions :)

Stevenson, I did not work at Volkswagen - i´d be rich!!!
I worked for Volkswagen as external. hey can throw us out from one day to another and pay less money, too...
Fot 16 years, if I wanted to go to the canteen I´d pay 50% plus, beimg an external. 50%!!!!

And Mrs P got ir all. Bad memories...

Still... let´s be happy, right!

The Lions say it all!

There is a Mrs. P here too along with Mr.P My wife probably would have killed that woman who put all that perfume on. It makes her sick. I like the lions today, ought to feed them a few P heads but those heads are probably empty. :) Have a nice evening. Sunny and cloudy today but warmish.

I love the Mrs. P story -- we have our share, too! Well told!

Bill!!! You made me laugh!

Margaret, unbelievable, that woman is plain EVERYWHERE!

Jeanie, ohhh, my stomach hurts from laughing, Mrs P must be very active!

Looks like there are many Mrs P's around the world Iris, even here in Perth 😀 I agree there should be benches but then how could that work in a queue.. perhaps if each had a number.. good idea Grace 😀😀

Not the best way to see lions.
