Pic of sign taken in Cologne.
When I was on further training. All by myself. I stayed at Hotel Mercure.
Not at my Bro´s place as he´d moved on.
But we did have fun times together in Cologne, this was one.
The sign says "Paul´s Sister".
I am his Sister. H´s.
I´m also the Auntie to his Daughters.
They are not named "Paul" and we have a German saying:
"Halt´s Maul, Paul!" - it rhymes, huh.
(It says "shut up, Paul", "Maul" being a nasty word for "mouth")
This...
... Ingo and I found in SC Carousel, Perth. A Kölsch is a beer you drink in Cologne and I sure had my share with both, Ingo and my dear Bro.
Remember/read how I tried to play mini-Santa?
I failed BIG!
Grandma gave them the book also (before any of the kids could read, so maybe I "won" after all - it´s no fight, I like my Bro´s MIL. BUT!!! Second time we came with the same pressie!!!.
But, hey... happy times anyways cause now it´s like a time warp, Big Sis (formerly me) reading to younger Sibling (formerly dear Bro):
Seems to be either soothing or very boring!!! Is Wee One sleeping?!!!
Us Big Sisters, huh. We keep going.
Are you a big Sis/Bro, too, or did you enjoy being the sweet one?
These kids "tell" their Dad what to say (as in "Thanks and love") - HA - I never "told" my Dad anything, did you?!
Times are a changing - thankfully, Henry 🦁 - he thinks so, too!
Yay for caring Daddies!
This is for "Tom´s Signs 2".

Great minds think alike--you and bro's MIL :-)
Have a nice day!
Not such a good idea ;-)
...Iris, I'm afraid that I've missed some of this in the translation. Thanks for coming to the party, take care and stay safe.
I just don't understand ... "Paul's Sister" belonged to your brother?
My brother was a very caring dad, he had 10 children! Yes, you read correctly! I am the aunt of 10! Some were born when I was still at gymnasium! How big they are now! Unbelievable!
A little big hug for you! xoxo
Tom, the place was called like that, that´s all! No big deal, no misinterpretation. Bet Paul´s Sister is a nice lady :-)

Ella!!! Before I read "yes..." I thought, TEN?!!! Wow.
Very "productive", your Brother, LOL - you must be a very generous Big Miss Santa then!
With a lot of hugs that come along! xoxo
Thank you for the smile!
And, yes, they grow up way too fast.
I've stayed at a few Mercures, like them.
No sisters or brothers, but I sort of wish I had! Happy week, Iris!
Jackie, yes, they´re OK. Not as good as a Bro´s room. And kitchen to chat for hours...

Jeanie, this is ... I´m sorry. To have no Sibling is sad.
But with Rick you made up :-)
Interesting post.
I have two sisters that are younger than me. Haven't seen them in years. One lives in California the other in Maryland.
Have a good weekend.
