"12:30, onion cake in my place?".
I left it with a paper and pencil to let me know if this date is not possible.
12:28... Neighbor W.
With flowers and all!
And I sadly won the bet about a man.
The guy who... oh, I never told you about him.
He does nothing.
Not.A.Thing.
But gets out his "tool" to pee right there.
Yes. Whilst walking to the corner.
There is a school and a kindy and hence loads of kids on this route...
W said the guy is 20 (W is 80).
"WHAT?! 50!"
"30!!!!"
48 (W really went to ask).
How sad is that. This man sits in front of a stu... supermarket all day long (a market can´t be stupid, right).
He is MY age and looks like...
Grey, icky skin, like old dough, wrinkles (heroine? Whatever), dumb. Lost his brain on the way.
"Well, you never know", I hear you say, "maybe a sad story", you might say.
He is unfriendly.
He did something good, though!
Flowers for me (from W) and a happy W who could TALK.
He poured out his heart.
What´s told in the kitchen stays in the kitchen but let me tell you, it was tough at times.
He in the end left with a big smile, saying, "oh, it´s getting dark already!".
It was a good date, especially in these times (we cannot take him for a beer anymore as the place has closed down).
And yes. I could see the smile. We wore no masks. (GASP! I can imagine you just took a deep one in disbelief).
We didn´t breathe at each other and mostly kept the proper distance (well, W wanted to help me with the hot stuff of course as also his wife had her issues with "hot" - but..! I managed on my own).
Onion cake, anyone?
According to W it was "very yummy" and Henry 🦁?
He loves any cake!
