10 Henries!

Henry 🦁 today likes to introduce you to 10 of his cousins, if you like, she is one of them.

Yin and Yang ... and ohhh...

Turn on the sound. It´s bitter-sweet and Henry... well. He held back his tears.

That´s how strong Lions are and who is stronger in the long run... sad. Some people are dumb. "Too many", says Henry - "take care"...

When I was a teacher, all the groups in my school had different names. My group, the 11/12 year olds: the lions. So every new schoolyear,on the first day, I told the new children about lions. I know a lot about lions, hahaha

It's sad there are so very few lions left in the wild, or even in national parks where they are fed and cared for. I loved the ones who live in the trees best. I climbed high in a lot of trees when I was a child.

Bertiebo, LOL! Those coincidences are too fun! Wish this was a practice here, too! A great way to start a new school-year!

River, Lion, you! :-)
I was never that brave, but managed to break my arm anyways (jumpy horse... a simple chicken freaked it out, gahhh).

I adore lions, and mourn that so many of them are in danger.
Like River, I was a tree climber. I often spent the day there with a book and an apple...

... no lion in your tree? ;-)
Yes, it´s sad. Why hunt these animals. Any, other than for food...

It is really sad to reflect on the status of lions today. Their populations are suffering everywhere and continue to do so, and in so many places we have destroyed a normal - and healthy - predator/prey balance. And rich idiots like Donald Trump, Jr still hunt them just because they can. They don't hunt actually, they simply pull the trigger when they are taken to the lion. It is truly disgusting.

I am with David on this one. There is a beautiful sanctuary for lions, monkeys wolves and elephants in South Carolina, USA. One of the best places for animals who can no longer be in the wild. https://myrtlebeachsafari.com/ my daughter and SIL went there and could not speak highly enough of the entire place. Wish I could add some photos here.
