Nacker Found

The Nacker (explanation see last post) used  to welcome you at Henry´s butt, kinda.
Now he moved to the other end of the market - why??? What is tradition any more? Is there any? Disappointed we took a break and went to "the castle":

Hello Frida.
It was felt 40C inside and Ingo purchased a Dry Fryer.

We went later to pick it up and took another round - actually we have 3 Christmas Markets in Braunschweig.

He moved from the roof and the chair to the carousel. Busy man, that.

The carousel´s name is "Blume", "Flower".

 Not a soccer fan....

Ingo was a firefighter in the respiration unit but refused to hop on.
Henry was on board, that should help!

As Sami is on holiday, no mural today.

Henry 🦁  is still on the truck.

 The new series:

"These inventions are older than you think

 Alarm clock

The love-hate relationship with alarm clocks is no secret. Plato invented around 400 BC. An alarm clock that produced sounds using siphons and water. The Frenchman Antoine Redier is considered to be the inventor of the first modern alarm clock. He patented his invention in 1847. The next time you want to hit the snooze button, remember that these well-used devices have centuries of history behind them."

I always wake up 04:58 to wake my alarm clock. You?

Magdeburg´s desaster is still on the news.

...malls are the same around the world. Your market is unlike anything that we have, I hope that it stays safe.

The mall is still "new", Germany (or Braunschweig) is a bit behind.
How are your Christmas Markets like then?

Too bad about the murders at that Christmas Market in Germany where a car driven by a Saudi Arabian plowed through it. Be careful.

The Christmas Market looks wonderful. So much color and excitement. Most of the new malls are not under the same roof. Each store has it's own building so you have to drive, park, and shop at each one because the stores are so spread out from each other and no sidewalks to walk around. I miss the old malls.

I would think malls would be warm, while outdoor markets are a bit cold! Santa does indeed appear simultaneously in about a million places...a magic elf he must be.

We are done for this year...

We are lucky - 20 minutes on foot to the city! Most are single stores, too, and then that one real mall.

Hope your garbage guys are as sexy as the ones here! One sexy dude and a stunning blonde woman!

Santa gives his best! It warmed up here - no white Christmas....

I hate alarms waking me up so I always wake up before and turn it off.

My alarm clock is just a few beeps and most of the time I don't hear it. I do't have to get up early so that helps. :)

Wow, who knew alarm clocks were so old? I guess there have always been people who have to get up. And wow, 3 Christmas markets. We don't even have 1. I hope our week started off in a good way. hugs-Erika

Beautiful photos of the Christmas market! Glad you found the missing Santa.

The markets look lovely, I like the "blume" too. Where is Santa? Maybe he had to go pee.
I never set an alarm clock, I just always wake up when I need to. My dad was the same. He did used to set the alarm when he left for work on school days so I would stop reading and get to school on time.

PHEW. See, that is why I don´t want to be in a car anymore!!!! Great you are well. How horrible. To find this on Christmas Eve (in Germany 24th). But in the end happy news and great art! Merry Christmas! To a new T - I joined you (of course).

You crack me up, Bill :-)

LOL, it started off with a new loo-lid. Santa was a tad early. Well it is one main Christmas market and two small ones- you have none?!!! Double-hug. Make one in your home?

Thank you, Sue, well, Ingo as said, refused to hop on!

Who knows where Santa is now?

Nice idea with Santa going for a pee :-)
I actually don´t need my Smartphone to wake me, but I panic if it´s not on on work days.... stupid! Hehe reading before school!
