Laugh Or Cry?

Job offers I get: 

- fashion advisor (hahaha, I wear the very same stuff since years! I still have a t-shirt I bought at age 18, aka 31 years ago!)
- cleaning lady (ummm...no, my respect for them but I didn´t study 8 semesters for doing this)
- service technician for laser cutting (good thing I know so much about that! Not.)
- service technician for bending machines (yeah, ask me!)
- Analyst for rotor blades (at least Braunschweig, but....)
- Consultant for energy saving (Braunschweig, but, nah)
- Economics-Scientist....
- Service-Consultant for VOLVO (??? Just because I drove a Volvo at times)
- Consultant in robotics
- validation Consultant on train-technology (just cause I don´t drive a car anymore?!)
- Project manager in Photovoltaics...
- Vulnerability Management

- Cyber Risk Consultant

- Fire protection engineer (yes, Hubby was a firefighter, but nahhhh, I RUN!)

.... 

You get the picture?

Many jobs in Frankfurt, Berlin, Leipzig, Bonn... that might even fit.
13 years we had a weekend-relationship, I will NEVER do this again.

Criteria I gave:
Braunschweig, IT

 

We have two laser cutters here in our home, Ingo´s toys. (The Jobs were not in Braunschweig, but far away).

Frustrating times, and for too long.

Before And Maybe After The Rain

As announced here are some snow/ice pics from before the beautiful rain...

It can be beautiful, or funny even. Wonder how long that "snot" took to build! Must´ve been not only windy but like very cold.

... is not so nice. Takes you ages and weee... if I slip and fall and break something, bad. But say a real  elderly?! Bones... age, I´ll come to that some time later.

 

Ingo, in the dark on his way to work did slip and fall, knuckles bloody, that´s all that happened, luckily!!! 

Others shovel the snow away and put stones on top, what a stupid idea, the second. 

You have the stones everywhere as they stick to your shoes, big cleaning day today. Our wooden floor doesn´t like these stones much.

Put the darn stones on those place you´re too lazy to shovel!

(Am I glad our house has a service for that, I´m lazy, too!)

Naked trees with a coat of a bit beauty at least and...

My Gurri warmed me nicely (really, have a look here - it´s named Gurri for real! Not my idea...) - and I walked fast, of course 😁... where I could, that is...

To Rainy Day People

  

So I went to the doc yesterday to get Ingo´s prescriptions.

Quite a way, nearly like to the bakery (no complaint!!!)

Happy Hat etc, etc, Gurri.

 

Some drops. Some more drops. More...

OK, wearing glasses this is actually not funny, but then... Gurri helps in the rain  and, really. And we even met a sibling!

 

And this, I don´t need!

 

Just why are so many people in the dark half of the year are wearing black?!

Car drivers do not see you, guys!!! Not in the dark at least, I know what I´m talking about, sadly. Boy, some freaked me out when I was still driving.

Reckon that´s why people smile or call me happily "Hello Fliegenpilz!" (fly agaric - brings kinda luck here).

 

 

I was kinda happy not having a brolly with me.

 

After the minus-temps  +8C felt warm and I enjoyed the raindrops on my face so immensly!!!

Like coming back to life.

It was wonderful. 😁🥰🌧💧

 

Not everything, though, reckon many did not expect rain!

 

 Had a look, nothing for me. But this you find everywhere now, stuff people don´t need they put out front to take away for free. I´m not alone anymore 😀

And guess!!! Can you believe what I found!!!!

Lille Rainy-Teddy sure would´ve loved to join her!

 

And in my head the song Bill sent me was playing, what a wonderful day is was yesterday!

My Brother says I always listen to all the bad things, like my T with icky divorce, then girlfriend dying so slowly of cancer etc, etc, I listened to my Brother, also!!  He says I should not.

But only this way I have two funny Nieces, right, and I listen to AL LOT OF FUN STUFF, too!

 

And maybe Ingo someday will understand why I listen to my Brother on the phone for 2+ hours sometimes... I just am a rainy day gal. We people do this. 

And yes, especially with Ingo, health-wise I´... we´ve been down there, too.

Let´s pass on the love!!! I´m ready (really, listen to this very beautiful song and understand "us"). 😘

 

Well, and since our pharmacy didn´t have everything I wanted and since I got the wrong voucher for professional masks (you only pay €2, Ingo got that from his company) - I have to go again and HOPE or rather WAIT till it rains! Chances are good! 

(Stupid, the staff didn´t see the date at first, either and printed the "wrong one" off already. Glad we know each other since 10+ years).

Haha, those who know me... I have no fancy clothes (always the same, practical skirt, eh? "Someone" said we go shopping next time in Perth 😉 -) and I cannot really dance, either, which is sad as it´s good also for the brain!

T STands For Rainy-Teddy

The snow turned into ice, oh, how I long for rain! As lille Teddy does!

He wanted to watch TV - OK, you encouraged me to draw and my eyes fell on him, an easy model, he sits still.

Ingo sneaked up - if I´d known I´d cleaned my place but this way I have my entry to Elizabeth and Bleubeard´s "T Stands For Tuesday"...right "at hand" (acrylics after coal):

 

 Here, after 15 minutes is Teddy on paper.

He wanted to see some rain. Turned around...

No rain, bu-huuuu!!!!

Ingo said the background is too light - but it´s about Teddy, what do you think (I think Ingo is right).

Ingo flipped through Jamie´s and made some yummy fish - forget about the boring couscous (but maybe that was like 5+ years old?).

Oh, addendum, am just  back from grocery shopping and I have to give you some smiles 😀:

Shortly after 07:a.m. I entered ALDI with the mandatory trolley - and the alarm went off - HUH!!!

A staff member was filling a shelf nearby, turned to me, according to his eyes he gave me a smile and said, "just go on, it sometimes does that :-)".

 

Didn´t get everything I needed and went to EDEKA. Huuuge store, I had to ask. Lady super-friendly but not very precise. Asked again and funny enough another staff-member was right in front sorting things.

"To nibble or bake?", he asked, reckon, again, due to the eyes wrinkling up a bit, with a smile.

"Baking, please" and wupps, he handed it right over. 

 

 

At the cash-out a new staff member came and said, "you can please come to my cash-out, I open  it now" and then she wished me a nice day.

Overheard another  staff member asking another customer, "another wish for you?" and I just thought, "YES, I wanna get rid of that darn mask!!". Certainly didn´t before being outside, that´s what you see these days: People coming out of stores and if no one is near/safe distance guaranteed, everybody rips off the mask.   

So: Go shopping shortly after they open and they are super-friendly, cash-outs nearly empty, not only on market day, aka Saturday.

Next wish: Warm up, weather, I want rain, please!

A mural is or can be a cry, in my humble opinion. For times having gone by. For freedom (of travel) we have lost.

I think two Chapeau claques could be found on my parent´s (now Brother´s attic), you might call them Opera hat - you kick the brim ét voilá - that flat thingy turns into such hat!

He came to me and will stay the whole year.

Thanks to Grace you could see sexy firemen and -women every time, new ones every new month you entered our living-room for the last years, when I was not able to get one myself, visiting!

This time... thank you, postie, read the irony.

He (or she) forgot Grace´s mail, it got wet, glued and shrank (see firefighter 2020 underneath - can you somehow top that?! I´ll see "2020" all year if I leave that calendar underneath!).

And certainly... Grace braved up and made him sign it for me 😍 (OK, see... these guys are nice, I braved up, also, 2016, after stomping on Ingo´s feet going backwards, thinking something bad has happened!!!

Who expects a fireman in more or less full gear in nearly 40C?!!!

Was like in Darwin in prison where they faked a prisoner´s escape and I went BACKWARDS!

Being the early birds, we were the first in there and poor Ingo(´s feet)... you get the picture.

 

Marty is stuck. I cannot open any other page - but!!!!

Have you EVER expected such craziness?

Everything closed, hard lockdown, we all go down the drain due to politicians failing.

And now even Perth in hard lockdown due to one man?! When will we be free again???

OH! If I could have done a better job, arrogant me? How about you? I guess... YES, we could have!

We would not have dressed up as Marty,... but kept the distance right from the beginning and Corinna would be under control.

It is the way it is and at least I have Marty, if not that dressed-up, happy pigeon...
