This´ll be the last Wanneroo-off/Braunschweig online-blogging-entry, after this Ingo´s netbook died.
18.11. - Mon – 10:00 a.m. Grace turned around the corner to... yes, pick us up!
We get pampered here for sure, thanks Grace!
We went to Cottesloe Beach to meet Sami at Indiana.
Again....
Funny things happen!
The Indian greeted us with two lions at the entrance. Ummm.... where are we, back home in Braunschweig?!
Sami btw not only live in Portugal, France, SA and other places buuuut. Yep.
Braunschweig.
I´m not lying, go over ask her!
It´s a very small world, after all, no?!
Magical view, huh?
We chatted around and...
Well.
I just have to say for my ego this was some day ;-)
(Love the fishes)
After studying at „uni“, in German it was FH, which is University with practical sides to it, too, Fachhochschule, 8 semesters plus one semester off to go to Australia, the afterwards 7 months off to Australia again, then one year changing/adopting to the job I got now and work in for over 12 years, Grace got wide eyes and asked how I did that?!
Have to sneak in some more pics, the Indian is a beautiful place, thanks for picking it, Grace and Sami!
Well to come back to the subject... I did it just like that. Cause... I´m not in my late 20´s or early 30´s, thanks for the compliment, Grace, but I´m... 41! :-)
Reminds me of when I wanted to buy sparkling wine for my 30th birthday and had to show my ID.
You´re allowed to buy this stuff from age 16 on!
I´m speaking of one bottle, too...
Even the loo is beautiful, Grace was so clever to take my cam. Cause in this - not adjusted to - heat I can drink and drink and just don´t have to go...
The Indian really is a cool place - surfboard included:
Guess this fireplace isn´t lighted for a long time now, having temps up to 44C...
44C and bushfires in Mundaring - hope Mandi, you stay safe there...
In front the Indian:
And the view to it from the beautiful beach:
Awww, the ocean...
A seagull - as long as you don´t try to catch fish they are beautiful...
I so love the relaxed Perth-style!
Speaking of...
remember the first pic?
Guess the relaxed guy there got a bit un-relaxed cause Grace and I kept taking pics of him :-)
But, hey, when you relax like that, with a body like that, you just have to know peeps´ll take your pic(s)!
On we went after a while enjoying this view...
Actually, to be honest, I don´t like those trees. They remind me of our mountain Harz...
There was another beautiful playground, certainly shaded:
And with these clever made "stones" with the helping hands:
At 12 Ingo had to eat, so on we went:
I had to force him to eat. He didn´t feel well in the morning already...
Speaking of - the post really is to come... we are NOT advanced.
In Germany you won´t find anything like this:
Water for free, with glasses, too!!
Also at the Indian we had a bottle for free.
After lunch Sami had to get to work and Ingo asked Grace to not be let out in the city but please to be brought back home.
I don´t know what to say to all the free service we get here but thank you, Grace, we do not take this for granted!
At home, Ingo got better.
I got worse.
My stomach hurt, I felt dizzy and went to bed, couldn´t sleep but needed the rest.
Somehow I guess, well, as Ingo´s late Granda used to say, getting old isn´t fun – we did just too much.
Didn´t remind ourselves our bodies take longer now to manage the time- and climate-change and we can´t run around at 100% full power just like that!
Tomorrow we´ll very likely do nothing...
Addendum: Watched „The Bucket List“ in the original (knew the movie) – sad and cute and got remined to live every day just like with the options they got - without that huge amount of money available, that is, certainly. But really.
Be thankful for all we got!!!!
19.11. Tue - Lazy, hot day.
Got finally Sully. I mean. I just had to, after seeing the movie on the plane – in the original language – and he´s talking English as well. If I waited to buy him in Germany, he´d speak German.
Cause for us dumb-heads everything is translated :-(
Had a pie.
And other we´re standing the heat.
This cabin has no tree to give us shade, so... HOT.
Just to think Bro very likely has the heating on... doesn´t help!

It was lovely to meet you and Ingo and Grace as well. Indiana Tea House is quite pretty, I had never seen the bathroom, so glad you posted the photos.
Give the thanks to Grace, Sami :-)
Yes, it was so nice to meet! Blogging is great, right?
So when are you coming back to Perth Iris :)
As soon as I can, Grace :-)
