I´m Getting Old(er)

Yesterday the new flow-magazine arrived.
I went outside on the balcony and... went inside again.

By.Golly.

Reading glasses - finally I really do need them!
I mean... I can still do with the bi-focals, but it´s an efford by now!
(Lucky me has an optometrist as Bro who gives me the cutest frames, no? Sad I´m not allowed to pay! Oh-so-often I asked to open an account for the kids to pay into, but, naaah.... "I don´t take money from you"...).

The magazine isn´t as good as it once was, to my liking at last, but they still have some gems, kinda, what do you think, kinda true, no?

Much thanks to Jamie Oliver(´s "5 ingredients") I outgrow very slowly my dislike of fish, too:

No idea if British pancetta is less fatty, ours didn´t get as dark in the time advised so we let go of the fatty bits, but, I can happily report:

YUM.

Crazy.
Great Britain is just around the corner, more or less.
Fresh spinach??? In Germany???
Allspice? Fivespice? Rendang-Powder...??? Maybe in Berlin, not here.
DIY, right - or take the frozen stuff.

Reckon I have to get old(er) to be able to get the same products here as in GB...

Photography is a love affair with life.. I like that a lot Iris! Aimee did bring her Jamie Oliver book for me to look at, I liked it so much I went and got my own copy today 😀 I can see Ingo enjoys cooking very much, lucky you!

I thought that cite is for you, Grace, too :-)
Hehe, Jamie sure is a great chef and author - and knows how to make money, too ;-)
He even makes ME cook!

I did a round with reading glasses after my optometrist prescribed contact lenses for me. Neither the reading glasses nor the lenses worked for me. So . . . it was back to just plain ol' prescription glasses.

Good thing you get to have nice frames and so nice of your brother indeed. There's nothing like making healthy and delicious meals. Greetings.

Well, actually I´d love to pay. Running a small business is a tough job these days, so I really´d like to help.

I enjoy Jamie's recipes too, he makes everything look so simple.

And some really ARE simple, too!
