The Boys Are Back (In....)
Those pigeons! Those flying rats, it took them months and months and months but yesterday I saw: They figuerd out how to balance on the fake-raven (it must be tricky!) and steal the food in town our café from the wee birds!
They even stomped around in my strawberries!
BIG "NO!"!
So I put up another army of wooden skewers and I just couln´t believe my eyes...
The wee ones came right back!
Were they so much afraid of those pigeons, really?
Now I don´t know if they called to each other OR if they laughed at said pigeons, but there was some chirping to hear here :-)
So tricky to catch them on camera, though, esp as there is no sun in the mornings...
Me, food, not so much anymore.
My stomach again called (screamed) for food, but the thought of it makes me gag.
One of the side effects of my new meds. I took my first half a dose yesterday (one day of a break inbetween) and that and the fatigue are overwhelming, so much I think of stopping the whole process.
How should a really depressed person take this, I wonder.
BUT I "stole" half a banana from Ingo, added half an avo, fresh mints, basil and buttermilk and made a smoothie. It worked, I´ll keep going, right. I feel much better.
I think I will even resume sport now!
And yes, I do think I should keep track of it for myself and why not here. Maybe it helps another person.
If a future boss might read this he/she at least sees: I try my best in this. Right?
HA! I´ll keep going! (minus the smoking, that is ;-)
Wonder what the pigeons might try next.
Stomping around in my strawberries, can you believe this?!
Oh! And: Summer is back, big yay!

You have pigeons at the feeder. I have squirrels. So hard to get the feeders free for the birds!
Monitor your effects of your meds in a journal and don't hesitate to return to your doc if you continue to feel this way. Often, a dose needs to be adjusted (and it can take time to get your body used to it, too). Cutting completely can send you down the other way. Maybe not if you've only been on a bit but certainly if you've been on for awhile. Trust me on this one. Just chart it, monitor it and your eating or other effects and don't hesitate to ask for help from the doc if you still feel this way. Also, not every med is right for every person, even if the diagnosis is the same. Give it a chance, but be vigilant.
Thank you, Jeanie, for your help and advice, I´ll use my old-fashioned paper-calendarbook plus Excel for this. Actually I only wanted to note the medication, but you are right, better keep the rest monitored as well!
The doc gave me "the most common" medication to start with (citalopram).
Awww, you have at least cute thieves, I love squirrels!
Good advice from Jeanie above Iris. It might also just take a few days for your body to get used to something different. Sport?! On top of all the walking you do! You must be soooo fit!
Yes, it´s crazy, Grace, today I am less tired and plan a solid salad for dinner.
At the moment I do sports only. I´m a tad afraid I get tired being outside!
