We sadly are on our way back to cold Germany. I prepared this in our lille, wonderful, ole cabin (from 1960-something). We have aircon, TV, shower (a bit complicated),TV, fridge, ALL you need!
With the faces I join Nicole's FFO and withe following Annie's Smiles. Because the following makes one smile(I hope).
Hats included!!!
Too large for my head but I love the gesture!
We are guests here since 1999 and really got hats for that - the new management really does a great job reviving this park!!!
Anyhows, to pick up from yesterday with February´s story "The Glade":
Today it would be my Dad's Birthday - 86 years! (he passed in 2006 thanks to SMOKING, never met his Grandkids.... etc, etc....).
Henry's 🦁 alter air-ego is one from deeeeep down, the Angler Fish 👀
He needs a light deep down in the ocean and we're high up in the dark sky (hopefully).
Wish us luck all goes well with strikes at Deutsche Bahn again...

Glad you finished the story, but sad to hear you're time away is over. It went sooooo fast. Hurrah for hats, even if they are too big, and that angler fish is great.I hope you are bringing him home with you. Hugs-Erika
I'm glad the park has done a good job over the years. And I'm especially glad that you had a wonderful time. Safe travels, Iris. I'm sad it's over so soon.
It is hard to believe that your trip is over already. I hope it is a smooth journey home.
Lovely story about Bilby. I can't believe your trip is over. Gute Reise!
Erika, each month has a new story :-)
Yes, tome sped by too fast... Angler fish should be in the suitcase, but I won´t do anything today/tonight!!

CJ, thank you, die Reise war ein "Horror-Trip"!
Good face!
Hoping it feels good to get back home. Often for me, traveling makes me appreciate home even more!
Great story, great faces and a great hat. I'm sorry thatyou are leaving your beloved Austraila. It will be good to get home though and sleep in your own bed. Thank you for sharing so much of your trip with us and with FFO. Safe journey home.
Another lovely story. I hope you are closer to home by now and also hope your foot is completely back to normal. One day I will have a holiday and go to Madeley to see for myself all the beauty there.
I know you miss your daddy. That's too bad he never had the chance to meet his grandkids. My daddy passed away last summer. July would be his 86st bday. :(
Thanks for sharing!
