(No) Last Good-Bye

Well, summer, hopefully this isn´t our last good-bye and you visit us as an old (Indian woman summer) in the coming weeks.

You´ve been around too little here this year.
Please consider more frequent visits next year, please. We cannot afford to go to Perth, where you seem to live, all the time.

I´m not crazy enough (yet) to give your flowers names, buuut...

... there could be more and stronger ones if you´d been around more strongly.

Let´s just listen to what Freddie has for you, summer, to learn from for next year, will we?

Listen to Freddie, in most things he was a wise genius (but one).

Life sure sometimes is.. crazy.
Ex-Teamleader T yesterday didn´t answer to my morning mail.
This morning I saw he was signed absent yesterday. I had an idea, why, as he usually tells me before he takes a day off.
Today no absent-note in our calendar, but I kept "my feet still".

And, yes. He answered on my mail, finally.
Saying he came in only cause there is a software-change.
Monday night his girlfriend peacefully left in her sleep.

And here I sit, trying to hold back my tears, seeing Ingo so thin and sick as he was back then.
I am so lucky he survived.

Hence I don´t know now, how to help T other than "I´m here if you need an ear".
Since the begin of last December she was in this "final stage", they were.

Oh, I so hope life has something great for him to come along, finally.

Oh that's so sad Iris .. even though it's been coming for a while it's still a bit of a shock, I'm sure he will miss her so much. Sounds like she slipped away peacefully though, if you have to go it sounds like the best way. All you can do is be there if he needs to talk. I really hope Ingo gets stronger and stronger xox

Thank you, Grace, yes, Ingo is well atm and also thank you for understanding that I´m still sad even though we all knew the end was near. She died aged 51 but was sick that whole last 1 1/2 years.
Let´s hope we have looong healthy times ahead! xox

Sometimes it's easier if the death is sudden than if the sickness is prolonged and both the sickness person and the family suffer for ages...Sorry to hear the bad news.

You are so right, Sami. Dad took two weeks and Mum also, it was awful. On the other hand we could at least say good-bye, kinda. If too sudden there are so many things left unspoken maybe.
I think deep in his heart T is relieved, it was no life for too long.
