With Pirates of the Caribbean Ingo started fancying pirate stuff - kinda logical and hence our bedroom... has some ghosts, pirates... Like this dude.
He was likely my last balcony-sketch of the year, "summer" seems to be over for good.
He was happy to be outside and with him I join Nicole´s FFO, arrrr...
Sadly the pic doesn´t show, his pupil is dark-red.
And he had to go back to the bedroom...
And certainly things that made me smile for Annie´s Smiles:
Ingo came home with these "broken" ones, such things always end up here - and they came out fine (if only shortly). Can you believe it - the first lilies in my life.
I was sketching along when Ingo came out with these for me 😘
You wonder what King Frog has on his head?
Pop in tomorrow for that, if you like.
And one more...
Ingo not only ran into the cellar to look unsuccessfully for a pump for my boys´ bike (and managed to get a bit air in with a "wrong" pump when I needed to be at ESE for a rather stupid after work-event)...
Next day he came home with this!
I feel a tad bad, really, as I only prepare brekkie and lunch for his work-days...
Well after all the good I got, here some funnies:
I sadly have no pic, but in the Outback of Australia 1999 we found two signs at a homestead where we delivered batteries (longer story):
"No junk-mail, no Jehova´s witnesses".
Darn it, that was pre digital cameras! No pic!
To a smiley Friday! (And weekend)
Oh, as Erika reminded me "last month"... it´s September.

Your funnies made me smile...not so sure about the skull.

Annie, the smile-part is for you 😊

Tom 🤣
It's a cool morning here.
I am glad I work from home!
I'll remind you again, happy September Iris. I hope it isn't rough times ahead, but some beautiful autumn weather. And that is quite the scary pirate skull for FRiday Face Off today. :) I hope that's not your warning about the new month. hugs-Erika
I once had a bicycle pump like that (I once had a bicycle.)
This is my birthday month, so I am hoping the month is purrfect.
I love your pirate skull.
Erika, LOL, I hope September does not see the skull as warning! He´s a friendly dude, too, hugs

Gene, I hope the cat wins for you!
A skull in the bedroom sounds ominous! Your funnies are hilarious though Henry doesn't seem amused.
Love the funnies and hope there will be some summer days ahead in September for you. We are supposed to get hot weather until at least next Thursday.
magiceye, that way real ghosts don´t visit - they are afraid ;-) Henry smiles...

RedPat, that would be so great - we might get 27C/80F!
Enjoy you yours.
Fun photos and funnies. Smiles for your bicycle pump!
Now if only I´d love to ride the bike! I only use it when I have to...
TGIF. I used to ride a bike when I was young, but fell a couple of times and injured myself, so never again.
My fear exactly!
Funny funnies. Have a fantastic September.
Glad to have made you smile :-)
To a fantastic September, we deserve this after that "summer"...
Hi Iris, I know I'm late but we've only just got back as we've been away for a few days. I love your funnies especially spelling one. I am looking forw\ard to September as the weather always seems to improve for a while just as the children go back to school! Loving your Lily too. Have a great weekend. Hugs, Angela xXx
Great to have a new pump for the bike tires. Some of the parks here have a bike fix-it station with a pump and some tools locked to the metal pole, which is great for cyclists.
best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Angela, hope it was fun days! I hope we get a warm September...
Have a great weekend, too, hugs xXx

Mae, yes, we have that too here, also locked, but at home is "better".
To be honest... I think I never saw anybody using the stations.
Yep, it's Sept. I really enjoyed this post, especially your skully pirate. I love his teeth. That is just too awesome. That is a really nice air pump. You summer snack looks great. I love watermellon but it is so expensive here and they have no taste. I will have to try and grow some. LOL Thank you for joining FFO and have a great weekend.
Thank you, says the pirate(´s skull) :-)
Watermelon is expensive and tasteless?! How come???
Have a great weekend, too and good luck with growing your own melons (bet you can, after what else you did!)
LOVED the funnies, especially the school. Of course, I LOVE that cat, too.
Arrr, matey, your pirate looks like he walked the plank in style!
