Listen To Your Admin (?)

We´re getting old(er) - Ingo woke up early with a cramp in his foot, I was awake hence also and thought, why not go to the market then.
It is the first day of Fall - buhuu.
So, I grabbed warm socks - after having even cold legs at the workshop yesterday!

And those above fell into my hands!
Hey, it´s not Christmas yet (though you get Stollen and Christmas cookies everywhere since weeks :-(...)

Anyhows. I put them on and...

They sure fit my PJs!!!
Well, my best-liked Admin, T, whom I just met yesterday as I was at the company for a workshop 😘 - he said he´ll call me Monday on Mr. Opsi, the night before getting to bed he had an idea on how to get rid of that guy...

He´d said, barefoot all through September still!!!
I have to cheat!
At least for the market.

We both have real wooden floors and enjoy them barefoot.. barefeet? Barfuß! - till the last day!
Sorry for the blurry pics, still pitch-dark here and yes, two posts as Henry wants to say "Hi!" for Eileen´s Critters.
Socks on or not, scroll down, if you like.
If you don´t feel like it...

Henry 🦁

How about you?
My colleague from pre-post has also real wooden floor - from 1915!!!

I love the socks! I almost never go barefoot outside in case I step on something and inside mostly I wear socks until real summer.
I would love to have wooden floors, but mine are covered with old and cracking lino which won't be removed until I move out. Then the wooden floors might get polished for the next tenant. That's what happened in many other flats and their polished boards are lovely. Some have carpets, but they paid for that themselves.
I don't plan on moving out unless I win lotto, then I will buy a house with a proper backyard.

:-) Do you PLAY lotto even? ;-)
I did once, didn´t win, that was that (did so when we decided to buy a condo and hoped for something better).
Our pre-owners thankfully had the wooden floor installed, yippeeee for that!

Yes, I so had to laugh about the socks matching my PJs!
A good start to the weekend, huh?

Hi again Iris. I smiled at your post today as I wear socks at night all year round. It is the only thing that helps with night cramps for me.
I am commenting again because you asked for my recipe for the Hot chili and ginger jam. I can't post a working link to a pdf here so I have sent it in an e.mail to you. Kate x.

I don't like walking barefoot unless it's along the beach. I wear Hausschuhe all year. I wear Crocs. In Winter with socks and in Summer Barfuß Though if it gets really cold in Winter, I trade my Crocs for boiled wool slippers.

I stay barefoot as long as possible, except when I wear my walking sneakers, but I rarely wear shoes in the house. Happy weekend Iris.hugs-Erika

I go barefoot indoors all the time, and use slippers or sandals outdoors. It's so warm in Hawaii.

Very cool socks indeed! Cool and warm, what an oxymoron.

William, not so in summer. The wood feels so wonderful on the feet. Never thought I would post about this sunject! ;-)

CJ, the beach certainly would - and will be come February - the best to walkk barefoot! But wood is very nice, also!
What are boiled wool slippers????
Yes, Hausschuhe it will be soon enough, too. We live ground floor and have the cold cellar underneath...

Erika, yes to that!!! :-) x

Tom, I am tempted to send some over to you!
Sadly the socks would be way more cheaper that the money for the mail - it is hilarious, and sad!!!
Please ask your Sweetie to buy some for you. Or maybe Santa, he needs to know in time, too.

____

RedPat, yes, to feel where we walk is plain great! (as long as it´s not (still warm) dog-poo)...
