Saturday we visited the "day of rail" in the city.
It was a bit creepy, when I came near the stall colleague D. greeted me... by name!
I once had a request and wrote via teams. There is no pic of me! A bit scary.
I assume colleague L. told him I´ll pop by and maybe described me? Next time I contact him I´ll ask! Or this is his superpower?
We had a nice chat and he gave me some goodies 😊
... but also a sign I work for a cool company, no? They are magnetic and hang on our fridge-door. Cold beer ready to open!
At the ALSTOM-stand was no one I knew, sadly.
But at Siemens mobility I met a girl who works with my ex-teamleader there and hopefully remembers to say hi from me.
But I certainly don´t wanna cheat on Tom´s Signs2!
We could not join as it was SUPER-MEGA-LOUD 😱
And, more 😱😰... parents with little kids were right in front.
Really, everyone is allowed to make kids, one should make a license and proof they can handle this properly. Everybody knows that kid´s hearing is very sensible!
Wishing you a quiet day!
How about with this - thanks, to Bill, I now know the 5th Dimension 😁:
Just the fourth is so far a miracle cause in Rudy Rucker´s 4th Dimension it is not time, it is balls (plural).
In 2nd Dimension A-square get´s a visit from a ball.
He sees a dot then a line that gets longer, shorter and a dot again. Plausible.
But I fail to imagine a 4-D object entering my 3-dimensional way of seeing things.

My super-power is sleeping I think. I do it really well.
Lucky you! Really, that is a gift!
Very cool bottle-openers, love what they say :)
...I don't have any superpowers that I know of. It sounds like you had a good at the railroad show.
Hope the kids went home with their ear drums intact!
Sami, yes :-)

Tom, the companies just introduced themselves. But it was nice to see how they do it and have a little chat.

magiceye, I fear no. It was so loud at the entrance there were warnings I first wondered about.
I have no idea why so loud and why it is allowed in the first place!
Music and movies at the cinema are way too loud for me these days. The volumes should be regulated when playing in public. I didn't realize you were too young to know of the 5th Dimension but now you know. :)
I laughed out loud at your parenting comment, but you are only too right! Sounds like you had a fun day though, and got some cool swag.
Ha ha. I love how they have so many little goodies. I actually have many super powers- smile. I'm a retired teacher, artist, people and dog mom, gardener, photographer, travellers, wife...and you have a lot of those powers too. That would be a good post. hugs-Erika
Sounds like you had a good time, Iris. And got some cool goodies. Good for Bill to send you the 5th Dimension.
Bill, yes, same why I don´t go to the cinema, I don´t want to get deaf!
What is that good for, playing it that loud?!
Well, I was born 1972, but my Dad tried to raise me with classical music.
Mom played ABBA in the car, though :-)

Sue, well, it was unbelievably loud, we had to cover our ears to get something to drink and "ran" away! Who enjoys this???
The rest was fun, more to come on Mondays :-)
____
Erika, to superpowers! :-) Hugs to that!
____
RedPat, yes to both!!!
My superpower would be my surliness at incompetent people.
