After The Rain

After the rain there is always the sun, isn´t it?

My Dad loved sunflowers.
Mum had his coffin covered in them.

Life is such a strange thing at times.
It took them so long to bloom this year, my poppies are still far from it.

Dad is gone 17 years now.
T is Ingo´s age and his Mum just passed away.
Sometimes I feel a tad "betrayed" that I lost both my parents so relatively early.

Wee. Actually this was supposed to be a happy post!
I love. love. love rain after all!

Especially summer rain!

Lion of the day:

This post has no point, obviously.
I´m just a tad shocked.
Last week I learned she suffers of Alzheimer´s and now she´s gone.
I "know" this cruel desease, my Grandma had to endure it, too. It´s no life, so...

I love sunflowers, and your photos with the rain drops on the sunflowers are gorgeous.
Was that your neighbour that died, that's sad :)

Sami, T is my ex-teamleader and it was his Mother who died. He´s the one who so slowly lost his girlfriend to cancer, too...

Grace, I couldn´t find better words! xox

That WAS a perfect puddle.

I know what you mean about feeling betrayed about your parents passing away before their time and early. I feel the same, especially about my mom; I had more time with my dad. I'm very sorry for T right now. That's hard.
