Here we have "Fridays for Future", school-kids protesting against how nature is treated.
Every Friday.
They simply skip school. They miss up to 6-8 school-hours. Each Friday, and what do they do?
Do they sit down and try to find solutions?
Not as far as I know - and why is it not "Saturdays for Future"? Saturdays there is no school, time to protest.
To me it looks like they just wanna skip a school day each week...
And it will soon be history, too...
Hmmm... I´m really looking forward to see if they go on in our summer-school-holidays? How important is the subject really to them, they have a chance to show now!

I've also wondered why they don't protest after school or weekends. As you say we'll see if they protest during the holidays. Are they actually finding any solutions to the global problems?
No, I don´t think those kids - or anyone - is really up to finding a solution. Money rules the world, that´s all...

Dora, I agree in general. But they do not DO anything but skipping school!
We have regular peaceful protests here about the environment, usually on the weekends though ✨ The more young people who are aware the better xox
I agree, Grace. But skipping school is no option in my eyes...
Sad state of affairs indeed. The children possibly feel that sacrificing a day every week will help them save a better planet to live in the future.
Well, let´s see if they still do in their holidays - I suppose not! But I hope you are right.
I love the idea that young people are protesting and getting involved but I wish they would do it on a Saturday!
