Saw this Bob the Builder - or "Bob de Boumaa" in Swiss-German - the other day.
The weather is still crap, so I wrote to T: "No excuse to not go dancing!", as he has dance-lessons every Monday and Tuesday and likes to skip it in hot weather.
Well. Embarrassing. I´d totally forgotten he´s in Dresden for a training (bad me...)!
He sent me this in return, LOL :-)
I cannot build, but I can shop a Thomas!!!
My first (kindy-)love´s name was Thomas and I thought, when I was 5 1/2 years old, that when my Brother to be born will be named Thomas we´d get along great.
My parents really took this as his second name - and we do get along great indeed (we sadly only see each other not often).
On his wedding the pastor mixed the names up and asked the wife to be if she wants to marry Thomas and the FIL to be cried out, "who is Thomas?!" - I still can laugh my head off about it!!
And now there is a whole shop of them in Dresden, right opposite the loo... oh my dear goodness :-)
This Thomas is my ex-teamleader, he´s Ingo´s age and they like each other, too.
He´s the one who took care of Miss Mango.
Wanna buy a Thomas? They´re great ;-)
(No, you can´t - I guess... you have to earn them...)
Maybe you have "a Thomas" already? Let me know...
(I just read about Rouen and remembered another Thomas I fell a bit in love with at age 14 :-)....)

Well, 21C at the moment, will get "up" to 23C and Wednesday 19C again. Crap summer!

The weather... nah. 70F today, it will go up to 73F and then down to 66F, brrr...

Here in Portugal, we also have Bob, the Builder (or Bob, o Construtor in portuguese). But I didn't understood who Thomas is.
