Yummy Love

Let me take you to Grill´d - who are sadly offline due to security problems - this time we go to Grill´d in Leederville.

You can certainly rely on wiki and learn about Grill´d here, but it does not give that much away.

In 2013 our friend M introduced us to Grill´d and to be honest, yes, expensive, but the yummiest burger you can get, and the most clever one, too.

I sadly never took a pic of the three jars you find at the exit.

Ingo and I always share a burger - big surprise, huh - yet, we get two tokens, as we are two people.
Tokens like... just let me show you, I took one home:

Take the token and choose one of three opportunities to support... a kindy, a school ... endless ideas!

All that after you had...

And they ARE yummy!!!
Made with love, too! You can watch them putting them together in most places.

And then you help your tastebuds with...

We always chose a Little Creatures - Oh, when can we do this again??? We have not booked Perth yet.

But we need...

Because...

This is for "Tom´s "Signs 2".

And the Lion...s of the day:

Our local beer, Märzen, with Emus from Wendy´s!

Btw! If you have bored kids at home, Wendy has some colouring stuff for free here!

And again: People are so friendly these days. "Corinna" sure teaches manners, no, no irony, most people are more friendly!
Same in your place?

Do you believe me I don't like the burgers ?!
I really have to be hungry, and nothing else to eat, to eat such a fat bite!
I am not such a meat eater …
How was your day yesterday? I had been to the reopening of my girlfriend's shop and came home wet, wet, wet ... Was a lot of rain …
Today is gray and rain is expected again this afternoon.
Enjoy your day, my dear Hathy! A little big, hug for you!
xoxo

I haven't had a burger in a long time, my teeth aren't so good now and I have trouble with eating burgers, I'd have to take it apart and use a knife and fork.

I am not a burger fan, not in any country of the world. My grandchildren always dragged me to every burger place they could find, day for day! Some people are being friendly these days, some not, but I think it will need more than a crisis to change them. Have a fun day, Valerie

Ella! I´m deeply shocked, LOL! I need to take you to Grill´d, you´d change your mind, I bet! You can have it the low carb way there, too, in a salad-"bun".
Ohhh, you had real rain! Sorry you got soaked, but... do I miss rain, just a few drops for a couple of minutes yesterday...

The days just float by, somehow, same in your place?
Grey and cool here, too. But I need to go get groceries. Maybe good to get out! With my cat mask.
Do Elephants and cats... oh... I better stop. ;-)
A good day to you, too, dear, little BIG hugs! xoxo

River, it would be worth it - do you have a Grill´d nearby? Give it a go!
Maybe with salad instead of bun, they offer that, also. As knives, no idea about the fork right now...
I am thankful for my teeth. My Mum worked on an Island - Helgoland - with bad water and had fake teeth at age 30 hence already.

Valerie, oh, I think. Aw, well... would be the same if you asked me to eat Rollmops or such. Never ever, I must be near starving to try that - again!
A fun day to you, too, Iris :-)

Nice assortment of photos. Now I'm craving a cheese burger.

Thank you and.... "sorry" ;-)

Loved the way you spun the story interspersing the pictures with captions. Great initiative to donate.

Iris Flavia said...

Thank you :-) And yes, a great, easy and fun way to help!

Tesco used to do that and they still might. They give you x number of tokens depending on how much you spent shopping and then on your way out you can drop them into the container of who you wish to support. We don't have a Tesco here in Dungloe.
The chocolate mint plant we got at a garden centre, maybe you have one at your town. Raining hard here, cool and windy. :( have a great day, Iris.

Tesco sadly is unknown here, but great they offer this, too!
And thank you, I´ll ask at our nursery for chocolate mints plants!
Grey, cool, but sadly still no rain here. Enjoy yours, Bill! Just take the right clothes :-)

That sounds delicious. I haven't had a good burger in a long time. And I love the token idea. It makes me feel good to support businesses that support the community.

We ordered take-out burgers from our favorite place a week ago but they were not as tasty as when you eat them there. I think the atmosphere was missing!

Iris Flavia said...

Yes, hope to get there some time soon. Haha...

Burgers are very popular in Hawaii. In my neighborhood, there are 3 burger joints -- McDonald's, Jack in the Box, and Wendy's.

Iris Flavia said...

Well, Grill´d you´d love much more, I reckon!

Oh Iris I looove burger places! They have this very homey vibe that I can't explain. The best burgers I had was Five Guys in California but I know there are still tons of tasty grilled burgers! I love burgers grilled because here in the Philippines, except for Burger King, burgers are fried HAHA I really love the token you showed, not just because it looks so pretty but also because of the fund raising project that the shop has, talk about socially aware establishments!

I looove how witty you did with the signs! And your signature, I notice it changes, super love it!!! Next time you and hubby grabs a burger, please remember me so it's like I had one too! Haven;t had one for almost two months now (and won't be having it I guess for a longer time)

Stay blessed and safe my dear friend! Hugs from the Philippines!

I'm a vegetarian and went to their web site. Their burgers look good and they seem to be careful during this virus epidemic. Seems they've had some controversy, though, although I approve of ANY company that is pro-choice.

Great in neon.

MB I miss hamburgers, we don´t have those yummy-clever-ones... That was Australia... I sadly live in Germany...

____

Stevenson, Burger King, LOL, not really good here! And, yes, the fund raising is one very good thing about Grill´d!

Sadly... who knows when we can go back to Australia/Perth? But I´ll think of you :-)

Hugs to you in the warm/hot Philippines, brr, I´m freezing!

____

Elizabeth, you can see their website? Cool, I can not!
I was a vegetarian for a while, also. After in school they showed us how those poor animals... well those were the 80´s...

Jim, neon and yummy.
