Keyboard Back In Use (Partially)
When I was 11 years old my Dad "made" me learn to play the piano, we have an original Steinweg.
I didn´t like it much, but was able to manage practicing only twice - once when I came back from training and then shortly before going.
You cannot say I was talented, though, because I have no feeling whatsoever for tact, I was always way too fast, too.
Then my Dad bought a metronome - and that was it, I gave up for good.
2008 Ingo talked me into buying a keyboard and resume playing - after all I took lessons for two years back then.
Reading notes was like starting by zero and after a while (tact, remember? Big problem!) I gave up.
The thing ended in Ingos room, behind the sofa.
And yesterday Ingo remembered the stand of the keyboard et voilà we have a place for the little oven we use for fast food only :-)
Because that´s what we had yesterday, mini-cordon bleu:
Certainly we didn´t go totally unhealthy! Because even if Granma doesn´t mash potatoes anymore - Ingo does (that was a stupid ad for ready to go mashed-potatoes, "Oma stampft nicht mehr"):
Yum:
And when Ingo went to the doc yesterday he stopped by by "our" bakery and came home with yummy fresh bread, so the day started after sleeping in with Leberwurstbrot!
All about food and good ideas :-)

We have a keyboard and stand just like that! Our daughter also learned to play when she was young, but no longer plays, and when we left Portugal we brought that along...don't know why, as no one else in our house plays!
Nice meal!
At least we now know what to do with one part of the keyboard, huh? Or maybe sell itand find something different for the oven...
Yips, was yummy :-)
